It works

Pros: It works.
Cons: N/A
Overall Review: It fits tightly in drives where other cables didn't.
A so-so product

Pros: They are high speed and simple. They function nicely as a bridge between a laptop with USB 3.0 and a drive enclosure with ESATA. I've also configure them directly to a bare drive, they worked very nicely in that instance too.
Cons: While they work well for a variety of things, but they fall short for long sustained operations. I've had these for years, but recently while copying large backups (filesize >200GB) they seem to overheat and crash. They work again when I restart the operation, but it becomes time consuming.
Overall Review: I have a handful of these converters and I've used them for the number of things, including a cheap DIY DVR (for several months). For lightweight operations they're great. I can move data at 100MB/sec, but only in bursts. Expecting them to run full throttle for a few hours has failed over and over. I may try cracking one open and attaching a heatsink... If I get to it, and it goes well, I'll post another review explaining it.
Good but not great

Pros: The case is built of solid steel, with some great thought behind the layout. It looks nice and has room for everything. It can hold 6 HDDs comfortably, and there's adequate cooling for a fairly hefty build.
Cons: Some of the screw holes don't line up just right. Again, it's solid steel, it didn't get bent a little in shipping. It was drilled (by machine) WRONG. I was able to get all my screws in with some coaxing. I had to get each one started then go back and tighten them. Regardless, it should be better than that.
Overall Review: A little better attention to detail on the part of the manufacturer would make this case 5 eggs without a doubt.
WAREHOUSE WORKERS PAY ATTENTION!!!

Pros: It's great little jewel for the price (I think, see below).
Cons: I didn't get what I ordered. The pix on the site show an adapter to plug into one's graphics card, and give them and HDMI port (where one would presumably plug an HDMI cable in). I got an adapter that has the right DVI connection, but the opposite HDMI connection... what the !@#$%?
Overall Review: I don't even know how to use this (wrong) adapter. I'd have to have a coupler for one connection or the other, and I don't because I've never needed one before, despite the many crazy things I've done over the years. Newegg, you fail, it's only $7 (with shipping), but it's still my hard earned money, and you're wasting it. I wonder if tiger direct has improved their shipping any in recent years....
good entry level HW card

Pros: This card seems to be a good entry level hardware card. It can do various raid systems and has 8 ports. For the price, I can hardly complain, seeing as it's another $100 to get anything better. This is my first hardware RAID, so once I got through some little technical details, I was off and running. It's really a pretty slick card.
Cons: As another reviewer pointed out, it has no cache which definitely slows the write performance of my RAID 5. Still for the price I can hardly complain. Though in retrospect, for a RAID 5 and eight ports, I would suggest saving up some more money and buying the bigger brother to this card... http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16816118132
Overall Review: I presently have four WD drives ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136533 ) in a RAID 5 on this card. Like I've said, the writes are kinda slow, but the reads seem pretty fast. Ultimately I'll probably buy the bigger brother I mentioned above. But at the current prices, it's gonna be a little while.
Great performance

Pros: This drive is fast, and reliable. I have 4 of them running in a RAID 5 now. A couple of the drives are up to 4 months old, but I haven't had any problems with any of the drives. And that's why I buy WD every time.
Cons: A little expensive, but it is a high performance edition. If you want an inexpensive drive, buy a green series drive.
Overall Review: I have the four of these setup on this... http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16816118128 It seems like a good entry level HW card, but it does lack a little for writing performance. Regardless, these are great drives.
