Pros: Performance of a Titan X for $300 cheaper. Handles 1080P / 1440P / 4K like a champ without SLI Full load rarely goes over 75C Quiet, no coil whine, 3 year warranty through EVGA Easily overclocked Handles GTA V driving through the city maxed out 1080P 60FPS Metro Last Light @ 1080P 100+FPS / 1440P 50-60FPS
Cons: No sandwich included but better than a toaster for gaming.
Overall Review: Could have came with a sandwich but I got Batman Arkham Knight with my purchase so that's good enough for me.
Pros: - Very customizable, you can change the default function of every button except 1 and 2. This mouse is like having 80 buttons, yes 80 buttons that is not a typo, on a mid sized mouse with the Easy-Shift key binding feature and being able to change customized button profiles on the fly. This mouse considers scroll wheel up and down as buttons. 7 physical buttons. The easy shift key binding can be used on mouse buttons 1 and 2 while holding down "mouse button 4" for example. You can make the bind button anything but that binding button's only function will be to get to the other functions you setup on the other buttons. - The middle mouse button you don't have to push straight down to make it function like on many mice. You can keep your finger on left click and push your finger to the right. You can't push the middle mouse button by push it to the left. Only works straight down or to the right. This is awesome! - The ROCCAT emblem can be any color you want it to be, possibly not in the shade you want it in. You can turn the emblem lighting completely off as well. - Easy to setup, plug and play and download the drivers off their website and update the firmware and you are good to go. All customizable mouse settings are in the drivers. -This mouse is very light so if you like a heavier mouse go for the Kone XTD with adjustable weight.
Overall Review: I highly recommend this mouse for $66. I would not pay more than that really....
Antec 900 to R5
Pros: Nice sleek look No fan lights and no side window Very solid case This is the case for adults. I don't need to have a bunch of lights and a side window to show off my build. I just need a functional case for my gaming rig. Compared to my Antec 900 case that I've had for at least 6 years or more this is a huge upgrade. It's more functional, solid, has just as much air cooling. If you want to spend some extra cash this case has more air cooling than the Antec 900. Right now I have 2 stock 140mm fans the case comes with and my Corsair H60 mounted to the top of the case blowing out of the top. That's plenty of cooling for me. i7-3820 never goes above 50C and my EVGA GTX 980Ti with ACX 2.0 cooler never goes over 75C
Cons: The only con I encountered was my SSD was too big to fit on the side of the case behind the MOBO where there are 2 SSD slots. I hooked it up to the regular HDD slot. Not worth taking off an egg for that.
Overall Review: Great case, better than the Antec 900. They are similar in price. The R5 is a solid case, I highly recommend it.
Pros: This is the best laptop for the price. GTX 970 and i7 4710HQ with 16GB RAM and 17.3" Display! The only thing missing is a SSD. The sound system in this laptop is great. The NVIDIA sound drivers seem to just not be compatible with the sound system so just don't install the NVIDIA sound drivers. The display is soo nice!!! The cooling system is incredible! The laptop is heavy but it's built very sturdy. It's such a nice sleek looking laptop. I prefer MSI, but I just couldn't beat this price. The Dual independent CPU and GPU fans really keep the system cool. You could overclock the CPU and GPU without upgrading the cooling system. Still checking out how far I can push this laptop with stable temperatures.
Cons: I don't really like the Windows 8.1 interface. I prefer Windows 7, but Windows 8.1 is faster and makes NVIDIA based video cards about 6% more powerful and more stable. So I'm just going to get used to Windows 8.1. Just need to get a SSD. I don't care for any of the ASUS apps which are required for the ASUS dental plan.
