AORUS AD27QD 27" 144Hz QHD 2560 x 1440 1440P G-SYNC Compatible and FreeSync Gaming Monitor Exclusive Built-in ANC Display HDR 1ms Response Time 10-Bit IPS 95% DCI-P3 Display Port 2 x HDMI 2 x USB 3.0

Pros: Great IPS screen Turn 1 screw to assemble Solid metal (heatsink) base Great picture and performance out of box

Cons: Be prepared to reinstall your audio driver if you don't plan on using the monitor speakers as primary audio. As stated by many... Don't expect much from the RGB back panel lighting.

Overall Review: Highly recommend for anyone looking to move from 60hz to 144hz and/or 1080p to 1440p. I just got this so I have not dialed in all the features and color settings but out of the box I am impressed with the picture quality and response performance. Very solid base that literally takes 1 screw to assemble and no pixel issues that I have noticed. I also loved the fact that Gigabyte put some thought into the packaging, it would be hard to damage the unit in transit. If your on the fence you can jump over for this one.

Is 3.75 eggs a thing? I am trying to love this TV

Samsung NU7100 55" 4K UHD HDR Smart TV UN55NU7100FXZA
Samsung NU7100 55" 4K UHD HDR Smart TV UN55NU7100FXZA

Pros: Sale price was 499.00 Newegg purchase was effortless as usual and the package was delivered in a couple days in tact (I was a bit concerned about carrier damage with a unit this big but it made it) Design and unit color look good. Easy set up It's smart, wireless works well and sets up easy enough. Apps are useful and non-intrusive. Picture is not terrible. (See cons and other)

Cons: The advertised "Motion Rate 120: Smooth action on fast-moving content" is terrible. The unit I replaced had 240 active refresh rate and did great so I read a hand full of articles/reviews about the difference in refresh rate and most of them led me to believe that 120 was sufficient so I went ahead with this purchase. Basic movement seems to cause stutter and/or image distortion on this TV and the motion stabilization setting that is available in the settings menu seems to make the stutter worse in some scenarios and also creates bazar artifacts on some of the still images in the shot. Bottom line is that I will opt for spending more money for higher refresh rate next time around.

Overall Review: I bought this to replace a Samsung UN55FH6003FX that I broke thinking this would be an upgrade on picture/resolution quality but man was I wrong. The picture quality is average or slightly better. As for the motion rate I mentioned in cons I kind of hope that a firmware update can help but I doubt it. All said, I would recommend this TV for 499 or lower but had I paid the advertise list price of 699 you would be looking at a 2 egg review.

Very nice RAM kit! Works with Asus Z390 MB's.

G.SKILL TridentZ RGB Series 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR4 3600 (PC4 28800) Intel Z270 / Z370 / X299 Desktop Memory Model F4-3600C17D-32GTZR

Pros: Fast & stable so far 🤞🤞 XMP profile worked @ 3604 with no timing tweaking required with 8700k on Asus Z390 😊 Great looking RGB. PLEASE tell me if u know of universal lighting control software that exists 😒

Cons: G,Skill should consider using color coded SKU stickers on the modules since they look the same to avoid impatient and/or non-sober installers from mixing the C18 kit they are replacing with the new C17 kit resulting in corrupting Windows on 1st boot. I got it fixed but just saying 😉 Also little pri$ey 😢

Overall Review: I would definitely recommend this kit!

Glad I didn't expect much!

NVIDIA Gift - Wolfenstein: Youngblood and Control
NVIDIA Gift - Wolfenstein: Youngblood and Control

Pros: Didn't pay for them! Redeeming the "free" codes was only half the PIA I expected.

Cons: Spend an hour with downloads and setting up accounts for bad games Individual accounts needed for launching the games

Overall Review: I would much rather have gotten a portion of the 90.00 these games are supposed to be worth knocked off the cost of the 2070 I got the codes with. Huge waste of time.

Nice unit

EVGA SuperNOVA 650 G+, 80 Plus Gold 650W, Fully Modular, FDB Fan, 10 Year Warranty, Includes Power ON Self Tester, Power Supply 120-GP-0650-X1

Pros: Fully modular will be a priority for me after buying this and seeing the benefits. Effortless install.

Cons: None

Overall Review: Buy it.

Does the job with perks

Corsair Hydro Series, H60 2018 (CW-9060036-WW), 120mm Radiator, Single 120mm PWM Fan, Liquid CPU Cooler LGA 1700 Compatible
Corsair Hydro Series, H60 2018 (CW-9060036-WW), 120mm Radiator, Single 120mm PWM Fan, Liquid CPU Cooler LGA 1700 Compatible

Pros: Keeps 8700k around 31C at idle and 40ish under load. Super easy to install and smallish footprint. Pre-applied thermal paste actually does well. Corsair logo is cool feature however.....

Cons: Wow, the lighting on the white logo is bright and no options to change color or brightness.

Overall Review: I would recommend this. Does the job for me with minimal OC involved. I installed it with the pre-applied past figuring I would re-install later but have not had a reason to do so yet.
