Pros: Gets the job done without use of software or anything of the sort. Very efficient, and easy to use.
Just plug into your usb, and use. Thats about it.
Cons: I used this to store music and movies and such because my laptop was too small. I've had it for about a year now... It turns on, but has yet to work now. Given the fact that it's gone, i'm a bit disappointed that it didn't last me more than a year.
get a passport or somethin else, it uses too much power too. 3 prong electrical plug for an external?? I think not..
Overall Review: Look elsewhere
Pros: This HSF really moves air well.
though it's huge, it gets the job done. I'm seeing a 4 degree Celsius drop in my cpu temp w/ AS-5. Still have to break in the AS-5, but it's keeping my Q6600 cool.
Cons: REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY A BIG HASSLE TO INSTALL.
I hate the retention clip that you have to screw into the bracket, because of the fact that the fan does not allow the clearance for your screwdriver to push directly down vertically on the screw. you have to screw the screw in on an angle, and i stripped one screw trying to do it.. HUGE!!!!!
Overall Review: Overall great HSF.
Moves air fine, works like a charm.
aside from the hassle of an an installation, it's worth every penny.
Plus, Newegg Rocks!
Pros: Sturdy Steel Case, Moves a lot of air, easy drive installation. Some wire managability.
Overall, very happy with the case.
Cons: The case, though big, is still not big enough. I had a lot of trouble fitting my 8800GTX inside. because it was so long (apprx. 9inches)
Wiremanagability was a bit of a problem for me, had to stuff the wires close together just to get a zip tie around them. still relatively clean.
NO REMOVABLE MOTHERBOARD TRAY!!!
Made installation cumbersome including installation of PSU cables, IDE, SATA, etc etc...
Overall Review: It's a great case! really, but i wish it came with a removable mobo tray, it made installation of everything very hard to do.
other than that, I'm quite happy with the case.
Pros: No warm up period for this lcd.
Digital - analog inputs.
crisp and clear lcd.
native 1680 x 1050 resolution.
Absolutely beautiful monitor.
the casing is really nice too.
Cons: Like others have said, the speakers aren't that great. But who needs built in lcd speakers anyway when u got a nice 7.1 set up anyway?
The Casing is really nice, but fingerprint prone like the back of an ipod or the lg chocolate phones. but thats not really a con.
Overall Review: I was a bit skeptical about buying this LCD, but It was definitely worth the money. I'm enjoying movies, my games, and autocad with a crisp new lcd monitor. Fit for the budget of a college student.
You won't be disappointed.
**contrary to what others have said, I received my monitor free of dead pixels**
Comments: Got this card about 2 weeks ago.
this is the first time in my life, that any high performance game has ever run this smooth for me..
I play HL2, CS-Source, HALO 2, Doom3, and Battlefield 2..
whereas all of the above, run perfectly fine.
This bundle came with Hitman: Contracts... its fun for a bit, but its too time consuming. and involves too much thinking for me =]
but anyway, great card!
as long as your up to date with the drivers.. you should be perfectly fine!

Comments: This stuff works miracles!!!!
I used this stuff on my old computer which was a P4 2.4 ghz @ 2.88 ghz with the stock fan.
and it worked miracles. using MBM, i got 27 degrees C idle. and 1max of 39 degrees C with a load.
I just ordered a new system a couple of days ago.
and I'm definitely going to use it with my new CPU heatsink. ThermalRight XP-90.
New System (as of 8/6/05 )
AMD 64 939 3500+
MSI K8N Nforce 4 Dual DDR MOBO
1 GB Corsair XMS 2-3-3-6
WD SATA 80gb HDD
ATI Radeon X800 Pro 256
Sound Blaster Audigy Z2
Aspire Alien-X case w/ 6 Coolermaster blue LED case fans.
Hint: ArcticSilver.com has directions there on how to apply.
Read carefully! it helps!
tip: REMOVE OLD HEATSINK MATERIAL BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING!
PADS, OLD Grease, etc. with some Rubbing alcohol or use the Arctic Silver Cleaning kit they have. it works as well.
Apply to heatsink first, rub it around the CPU contact area with a glove one or something where your fingers will not come in contact. i.e. sandwich bag. (this will allow the paste to get into the valleys inside the heatsink to better conduct heat) then wipe off. then apply to CPU, and do the same spreading around. enough to just cover the top. and then apply the heatsink on top and Voila! you got yourself a very cool heatsink and CPU combo right there!
REMEMBER, THERE IS A BREAK IN PERIOD!!!! Give it a good 120 hours use minimum and you'll be sure that its at its maximum working status.
