Best laptop I've ever owned

Lenovo IdeaPad - 15.6" Dual NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M SLI - Intel Core i5-3230M - 6GB Memory - - Windows 8 - Gaming Laptop - (Y500 (59359560) )

Pros: Sleek, beautiful screen and keyboard, best graphics I've ever seen on a laptop with dual GPU, especially at this price. Comes with Windows 8 and a bunch of intel/Lenovo software, but you can just uninstall everything, including the RealTek audio and webcam software, and then Windows will put default drivers in their place (I like to optimize). Also remove all the Windows 8 apps, you don't need any of them. Then pin a few of your familiar old start menu items to the new start screen (computer/control panel/run/task manager/paint/calculator/commas prompt) and voila! You've got a useful Windows 8 start menu without all the garbage. Also recommend downloading GeForce experience to update drivers, but then uninstall it after because it's pretty much useless after that, and like I said I like to optimize. Open task manager and look under startup, disable everything except antivirus. Also recommend buying directly through Lenovo, better return policy and got mine for cheaper too ($799). Sorry NewEgg! That's just how it goes.

Cons: None!

Overall Review: There is no fan blowing hot air on the right side, the air is coming out of the left side, please stop giving false info regarding this detail. It's on the LEFT. So unless you're left handed, nobody cares!

Most Critical Review

Let's be honest...

Samsung Galaxy S II White 3G Unlocked GSM Smartphone w/ 8 MP Camera/Android OS/16GB Internal Memory (i9100)
Samsung Galaxy S II White 3G Unlocked GSM Smartphone w/ 8 MP Camera/Android OS/16GB Internal Memory (i9100)

Pros: Looks almost exactly like an iPhone, both the physical structure and the tweaked interface.

Cons: Poor battery life and reception (contrary to the fake reviews that state otherwise). I have a special spot in my heart for Google, but Android is just a big mess: 1) Fragmentation beyond words (developer nightmare, compatibility issues, hampers innovation), 2) Security issues (malware up 76% in Q3 2011; seemingly legit apps being approved, and subsequently steal personal information (i.e. phony NetFlix app, most recently)), 3) You are at the mercy of Samsung; OEMs tweak Android on their handsets, and they control when (or if) you receive updates, and 4) delayed responsiveness (in both interface and applications -- this is an ongoing Android issue).

Overall Review: The only Android phone I would ever consider buying is the official Google "Nexus," since it is the only pure Android handset; although the current generation is manufactured by Samsung (unfortunately). Might want to hold off until Google uses their new mobile division (Motorola) or gets HTC on board, for the next generation of Nexus.
