Is this better than Canon 70D?

Hey it depends on a number of things. I don't know if you're a pro shooter or beginner but Canon and Nikon both have different advantages and disadvantages over each other. In this case, the D7100 Is better (specs wise) than the 70D. It has 24MP over the 70D which had about 20MPH. Has a ridiculous 51 focus points while the 70D has about 19 (I believe).Video wise, the 7100 shoots up to 1080p at 60i, while the 70D does 720p at 50i (but 1080p 24fps), etc.

If you're a beginner, don't go with specs but learn about each camera and see which style, characteristics and usability suits you best. Remember, having loading specs on any equipment is one thing... knowing how to  it is just another story.
