Is this the Nikon that has two SDcard slots?

This is fantastic camera after you learn how to use a bit. I used shoot jpeg with the camera now I shoot RAW for better pictures. Jpeg is fine but RAW give a better picture and you can adjust them with software. I use Paintshop Pro X6  (64bit) if I need to adjust my pictures.  I have to admit the pictures come out great just out of the camera.

I am very pleased with this camera. I purchased a 40mm Nikon Macro lens and its works great. The camera came with a kit lens 18-105 mm and it shoots great pictures. If I had known it was kit lens I would have purchased the body only purchased a better lens.

Over-all  a great camera.

I was wondering if this is worth the price?  I want to take nature photos and actions shots of my son?

Outstanding camera, easy to use, intuitive controls, highly recommended.

Controls:
One of the main reasons I wanted to upgrade from an entry level DSLR was so I can quickly change settings without having to hunt through menus to do so. This camera fits the bill very well and has a few major upgrades from my point of view. Fistly, the U1 and U2 settings are invaluable. Being able to have a group of settings stored such that I can revert back to them by turning one knob is major. Several times in the past I have been trying to compose one shot only to have a completely different shot appear that required different settings altogether. This takes a while to do on the more entry level camera and has been very annoying. Something that may not seem that important but I love already is the depth of field preview button. I enjoy being able to see what the aperture setting will actually look like without having to take a shot and review on the LCD. The final feature that I love are a collection of buttons/knobs/wheels that allow me to change things like shooting mode (continuous, timer, etc), AF mode, ISO setting, etc without having to get into a menu. I haven't quite committed their location to memory but once I do I won't even have to take the camera away from my face to make the changes.

Auto Focus:
The 51-point AF on this camera has been a dream to use. I almost always keep the camera set to single point servo autofocus so I can select the point I want it to focus to. As long as you have some contrast, it is very quick and accurate to focus. A big positive in this camera over the lower level ones is that it DOES have a built in AF motor which means it will autofocus on lenses that do not have a built in motor.

Noise:
Wonderful sensor, great signal to noise ratio.

Image Quality:
I'm not a pixel-peeper nor do I have the extensive experience to really discuss the image quality. It takes good pictures if I compose good pictures.

Question 3

What is the shutter speed? Does the speed compare to that of a regular SLR? What is irritation is pushing the picture button and having a delay for the picture. I may assume this is fast since another person stated the purchase was made to take sports shots. One place I will use this is for hockey. 
Another question is availability for additional flash units and is there plug ins for additional microphones?

This camera shoots at 6fps. The 7100 should be plenty for hockey or any action sport. The max shutter speed is somewhere around 3000ths of a second.  There are indeed insets for an external flash and a microphone.
