I purchased & received the BP8B's last month from Newegg and  they are new factory sealed. BTW, I set them up front L&R surround speakers powered by B&K AVR707 & they sound great. They replaced def. tech. mythos which were good, but rattled with too much bass. So far the BP8B,s are holding their own with deep bass. I'm happy with my purchase!!

Question 2

I bought 2 of these and one does not pass the sound test from my receiver.. Any ideas why it happens?

I had a defective one also.  I had to return it.  It failed the rattle tests of DVE HD Basics.  Make sure you get newegg to pay for the shipping as it wont be cheap.  I assume it was a loose internal component as there was no external damage.  It can be very hard to detect such defects unless you know what you are looking for.

Question 3

What is the recommend center channel to match this speaker? I just purchased 4 and I would like the appropriate center channel.
