This docking station does not come with a 135W AC Adaptor.   I had a spare one from an old DELL XPS laptop.   And answering your question,  this docking station charge great and had no problem with it.   Just remember it require a 135W AC Adaptor.   Anything smaller (120W or 90W)  then I don't know.

It would work but not well.  This docking station is configured to accommodate a Latitude with the battery that extends beyond the back of the case.  To use it with the Precision - once it's nested there'll be about a 2" gap from the back edge of the laptop to the front of the lower base.  You'd have to have something extending back form the base of the docking station to support the Precision once nested.

I just ordered this and then noticed it did not come with the AC adapter. Do you have those and can you tell me which one I need?
