Yes it supports 240 AC. It has adapter same as laptops but varied rating so it s specific to projector

Does this unit come with a remote?

No, this does not come with a remote - to operate the unite you must use the arrows on the top of the machine. You can use a wireless dongle, but I have no experience with that.

Is this compatible with a MacBook Pro please? If so, how?

It should be? You will need an adapter from mini display port\lightning to HDMI or VGA from your MAC.

Does it support micro sdhc (high capacity) cards?

I do not know if it is high capacity. I use regular micro SD.
