The DRA-697CI receiver will shine as the core to your high end Hi-Fi stereo multi-room audio system. Equipped with many new features, it can handle almost any configuration combination. Its two source three zone capability allows you to run multiple sources to multiple areas at the same time with pure clean sound. Being 4 ohms stable, it can handle the most demanding speakers, yet deliver smooth fidelity. HD Radio-ReadyThe HD Radio-Ready logo means that this product has been designed to be upgradeable with HD Radio reception. HD Radio technology enables the reception of high-quality digital AM and FM stations. Broadcast simultaneously with traditional analog signals, HD Radio signals provide crystal-clear CD-quality sound, program information (e.g. artist, song title, station, etc.), and multiple channels of programming (aka multicasting) on the same FM frequency all subscription free. ASD-1R, Made For iPodThe Denon ASD-1R is a convenient iPod docking station compatible with this Denon component (sold separately). The Made for iPod mark signifies that this product has been designed to work with iPod devices either through docking stations or connection cables.
Multi-Room Entertainment SystemDenons Multi Source function lets you select different audio sources for listening in different locations (some models may have volume adjust only for zone 2). Different sources can thus be enjoyed in the main room (MAIN) and sub-room(s) – ZONE 2, ZONE 3 or ZONE 4 – simultaneously (number of zones is model dependent).
Signal Level Divided Construction (S.L.D.C.)The Signal Level Divided Construction (S.L.D.C.) chassis is used in the audio circuit to ensure that delicate musical signals from such advanced digital sources as DVD and CD are faithfully amplified and transmitted to the speakers.
