This will replace the power supply that you need. Many power suppliers will work. The important parts to match are the internaol connectors for your hard drives. Some hard drives are Sata, and some use the molex connection. Most computers these days use SATA, but check to be sure there are enough 'connectors' for your hard drives and other components.

Power connectors for:
hard drives
CD/DVD ROM drives
graphics cards perhaps
(smaller power connectors) for the internal fans and motherboard

This most likely has the amount of power you need. However, you first must check the tech details to be sure it has the connections you need. Take out the old one, count the connectors, and see if you can find one to match.

I think that it depends more on the MicroATX tower than anything else. I recently purchased this for a budget build, but that was on an ATX Mid. The short answer is that it should, but be careful if you are ordering an irregularly shaped case.

As far as pulsation and noise, this one is consistent and powerful, but it does make some noise. I am conscious of the machine being on, and even turn it off to stop noise. Hope this was the topic you were thinking of, and hope this helps.
