Products description:
Silicone wound contact layer is a transparent, non-adherent, flexible wound dressing. It could prevent skin stripping and discomforting when dressing changing. The Silicone wound contact layer is composed of silicone layer which has silicone adhesive on one side of PU film, and release film.
Silicone wound contact layer is a primary dressing, which cannot be used alone. It needs to be used in combination with secondary absorbent dressing. For example, it can be used in combination with our gauze dressing, super absorbent dressing, foam dressing, etc.
Scope of application:
Silicone wound contact layer can be used with a secondary absorbent dressing, indicated for a wide range of exuding wounds , such as skin tears, skin abrasion, blistering, diabetic foot ulcer, pressure ulcer, leg venous, arterial ulcer, first and second degree burns, partial and full thickness grafts, Epidermolysis Bullosa, surgical wounds and traumatic wounds.
It can be used as wound protective layer on non-exuding wounds and fragile skin areas.
It also can be used as wound protective layer in NPWT system.
The product is single use and indicated for professional use only.
Product may remain in place for up to 14 days which allows cost effective and undisturbed wound healing.
Contraindications:
Do not use on Third-degree burns.
Do not use on the patients with a known hypersensitivity to the product or to its components.
Not for surgical implantation.
