Yes, it will hold a micro atx board. You will have a lot of open space. I installed a Biostar atx and still have plenty of room.

does it take a hdmi or vga lead?

I see this case is no longer available, but it was only the case. The type of video connector you would use would be dependent on your choice of motherboard or video card.
