Pros: Small - barely bigger than the drive itself. Cable is of decent length. Red LED clearly shows I/O (has a blue LED "pilot light")
Cons: None that I can see. Some of you folks are certainly critical. The angle connector is a bit odd, but it helps secure the cable for stowage. The LED is hardly what I'd call annoying, but then I hardly care as long as it gives some indication it's got I/O going on.
Overall Review: NewEgg appears to have fixed the confusion between the model that has eSATA ($2 more) and this one - I knew what I was getting. What I like compared to similar housings with a permanent cable is that the cable is actually a bit longer than others I've used - going a full 3/4 of the way around the shell. Of the last 3 cases for 2.5" drives I've purchased this one is my favorite so far. A good balance between price / quality / function. Would buy again. Note: I used it with a 320GB 5400rpm WD drive. Had no issues with detection both in XP and Vista as well as a boot device.
