FRIDGGI Story
We’ve all experienced it—waking up to a fridge door left open overnight. I’ve been there too, and that’s why I created FRIDGGI.
Since 2019, FRIDGGI has helped families prevent food spoilage, save energy, and avoid unnecessary stress.
Multiples Uses

Educate kids
FRIDGGI Alarm can help teach kids to close the fridge or freezer door within 60 seconds. With four volume levels, you can choose the least annoying but most effective tone for them.

Basement Freezer
Loud Mode replaces all chime alerts with 110 dB siren alerts, which are effective when used in a basement or garage. To activate this mode, short-press the SET button until you hear 4 confirmation beeps.

Fridge Lock Alternative
Kids often open the fridge and forget to close it all the way, causing a lot of waste. Fridggi Alarm can be an alternative to try before using any fridge lock solution.

Help on Saving Energy
When the refrigerator or freezer doors are frequently left open, the unit compressor runs hotter and takes longer to cool, and this will burn more and more electricity.
FRIDGGI will help you close your fridge or freezer door when left open or ajar and avoid wasting food. Kids frequently leave the refrigerator door open, making the unit's compressor run hotter, which means it takes longer to cool and burns more electricity.
Unlike regular chimes or alarms, FRIDGGI only emits a single beep when the door is opened, then progressive Di-Di alerts after 1, 2, and 3 minutes; you have 59 seconds to take food out of the freezer or refrigerator.
Normal and Loud modes include a low-volume beep every 10 seconds. This will help you avoid Di-Di alerts when you keep the door open for more than 60 seconds.
FRIDGGI fridge and freezer door alarm is a standalone device, ready to use after unboxing, with double-sided adhesives and 3 x LR44 batteries included; they can last for 12 months.
We recommend placing the alarm and the mini sensor 0.7 inches apart on Metal surfaces and 1.2 inches apart on Wood or Plastic surfaces; FRIDGGI emits a low-volume beep and the red LED blinks when you exceed the allowed gap. Please open/close the door to check before peeling the double-sided tape.
Low Battery:
When the batteries are running low, the FRIDGGI Alarm will emit continuous low beeps, indicating that it's time to replace them.
Installation:
- Switch ON; it emits a beep. For activation, keep the mini sensor near the alarm for 10 seconds.
- Before peeling the double-sided tape, choose a placement on the freezer or fridge — front, left, or top — where you can put the mini magnet at the same height as the alarm.
- Open the door; you will see the red LED blink with a low beep, followed by increasing Di-Di alerts after 1, 2, and 3 minutes ( In Quiet and Medium modes, there is no sound before 60 seconds.).
- Before using in a basement or garage, short-press the SET button until you hear 4 confirmation beeps, which activates Loud Mode. It includes a repeated loud siren every 4 minutes.
Important:
Loud Mode replaces all chime alerts with 110 dB siren alerts, which can be heard up to 600 ft (180 m) in an open area:
- To activate this mode, short-press the SET button until you hear 4 confirmation beeps.
- Test activation by keeping the door open for at least 4 minutes to confirm that the progressive siren works properly and helps prevent food loss.
