The sensor cannot be intelligent when used alone, and cannot be linked to the APP, but it can be used to sound an alarm when there is a water leak. If you have more needs, you can purchase our H5044 gateway packages.
Can I use it with my gateway from another brand?
NO, GoveeLife H5059 sensor can only be used with the GoveeLife H5044 gateway and is not compatible with any other gateways.(You can check the product model by the model number on the back of the product)
How to adjust the sound if it is too low or too loud? Can the volume be lowered or turned off during sleep?
Press the sensor button twice in a row to adjust the volume. If you have a gateway product, you can also adjust the volume through the APP. You can adjust it to mute or low volume during sleep.
Does the device have batteries in it? Do I need to install batteries before I can use it?
The battery is built into the device. The new device can be used directly without installing the battery.
How to replace the battery of the sensor? Can't find the screw position?
There are 4 waterproof plastic pads on the sensor. You need to use a tool to remove the waterproof plastic pads and then unscrew the screws to replace the battery. For details, you can check out our video: "How to replace the battery"
