Does this sensor require a Zigbee hub?
Yes. This is a Zigbee sensor and requires a compatible Zigbee hub or gateway to work. It uses Zigbee 3.0 protocol and does not connect directly to Wi-Fi.
Why is my sensor showing different readings from my old thermometer?
Temporary inaccuracy is common after unboxing or moving. It needs about 1 hour to acclimate to your environment, especially if there’s a big temperature difference from shipping. Wait 60 minutes before comparing readings for the most reliable data.
How often does the sensor update?
This sensor is designed for stable monitoring and long battery life. Please allow about 30 minutes for the readings to stabilize after setup. It reports when temperature changes = ±0.5°C or humidity changes = ±5%. Otherwise, It reports once per hour.
