Can this mount hold a tablet with a thick protective case?
Yes! The clamp features a 1.57" depth, designed to accommodate tablets and phones even when fitted with super thick protective cases. Soft silicone pads on the clamp help keep your device secure and scratch-free while on the road.
What devices can this mount hold? Is it only for tablets?
It’s one of the best car accessories for 6"-12.9" devices. The clamp opens up to a MAX of 9.6” and closes down to a MIN of 4.7”. While optimized for iPads and tablets for max stability, it also perfectly fits large smartphone like the iPhone Pro Max.
Will the base fit my cup holder? What is its exact size?
It fits diameters from 2.5" to 3.9". Twist the base to lock it. NOTE: The base depth is 3.38". To expand to the MAX 3.9" for larger cup holders, you MUST snap the 3 included extension pads onto the base blocks. Please measure before buying.
How tall is this tablet mount? Can I adjust its height?
Yes, it is highly adjustable! The total height can be set anywhere from a compact 8" (lowest) up to 15" (highest). You have the complete freedom to adjust the rigid arm to get the perfect viewing angle for your car.
Can this be used in the backseat cup holders of an SUV?
