iCX2 Technology uses asynchronous fans to cool graphics card components only as needed. These fans spin at different rates, ensuring that the correct areas of the card are cooled and reducing noise in the process.

iCX2 Cooling focuses on improving the baseplate, the heatsink and the fans to make the best possible cooling solution.

  • A: new plate-punched design improves the iCX2 baseplate's contact with all components and the heatsink.
  • B: The iCX2 employs a heatpipe directly on the VRM area to quickly remove heat from the hottest area of the graphics card.
