EVGA 122-M2-NF59-TR AM2 NVIDIA nForce 590 SLI MCP ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: -Probably one of the cheapest 590 boards out there -Full speed PCI-E16 -Quiet chipset cooler -Two digit error display on mobo

Cons: I'm not a fan of active northbridge coolers, but this one is quiet thus far. I hope it lasts. The rear panel was a little loose in spots (PS2 connections mainly). If your hoping for a the rebate, good luck. I abided by all of the current promos stipulations and was still denied. after some harsh words i convinced them to send me one for an 8800gts i also bought, but the mobo? after a while they just start ignoring you. HORRIBLE SUPPORT EVGA gets a F-!

Overall Review: Overall I am happy with the board. And in the past i havent been let down by EVGA's products. However this is not the first time I've been severely dissapointed with their customer service. One thing I come to expect is recieving a "ticket #" the first time i call so i dont have to explain myself over and over again. You recieve no such luxury with EVGA. And ignoring customers who have spent upwards of $1,000 on your products is not good business.

Pros: Everything you'd need and then some. BIOS is very tweakable. Runs stable with AMD 64 X2 4800+ Brisbane, Corsair TWIN2X2048-6400C4 @4-4-4-15 2T, Foxconn FV-N79SM2D2-OC 7900GS

Cons: Board layout could be better. CPU socket is way too close to memory slots. The bigger aftermarket cpu coolers (like the one I have) don't block off the 1st memory slot. Not too bad since I'm just using 2 x 1 GB RAM modules PDF manual doesn't quite match the actual board (minor). Needs to include rear connector plates for COM, addl USB etc. Runs a little warmer than the comparable ASUS boards M2N* (40/31)

Overall Review: Same board as the XFX MB-N590ASH9 and Foxconn C51XEM2AA-8EKRS2H. You're paying xtra for support, at which all 3 are "not great". Get some more reviews for those boards. <P>Wonder if that tiny fan on the board actually makes a difference :-) For price/performance value, the M2N-SLI is clearly better. Of course, that has issues with onboard sound...

Pros: Love it. No problems. It is a motherboard so not much to say.

Cons: Read thoughts. Not really a Con so cant put it here.

Overall Review: I had to get a 4 to 8-pin PCU power connector. Make sure you either have a converter, or your PSU has the 8-pin PCU Power Connector.

Pros: OK after some very very mild tweaking on the EVGA 590 SLI mobo, i got the cpu to go to 2.49~2.5 GHz only by changing the clock speed to 260 with all voltage, memmory, multiplier settings set to "auto" in the BIOS settings. my 1.5Gb generic ram went from 533 to 692 MHz, temperatures are floating around 32~33C idle and never above 43 under load (artic silver 5) ;)

Cons: None- im not asking a whole lot here from a $69 processor. I've tried to go higher on clock settings and voltage, multiplier etc but i think im limited b/c my generic ram. Very happy with this processor cant wait to get better ram and maybe a better cooling fan if i wanna go much higher

Overall Review: EVGA 590 SLI mobo, x2 3600 512 L2 Cache, ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 64 Pro, EVGA 8800 GTS 640 MB, 2x WD 160G hard drives, 1.5G (533MHz) Genaric ram, Creative X-FI sound card, 600W Soley tech PSU, Coolermaster Centurion 534+ case. Best Motherboard ive owned. tons of overclocking features and ver stable for all my needs, love the debugger LED on board and the support from EVGA is AWSOME. Pros: Incredible amount of overclocking options. Runs great and fast. Works with all my other hardware

Cons: only two fan connectors. If you want to monitor fan speeds this is a limitation...

Overall Review: 4GB (4*1GB) Crucial Ballistix, Athlon X2 5600+, 2x GeForce 8800 GTS

Pros: Does what it's supposed to. Had it for almost a month now without any problems. Dropped 4Gb of RAM in it and it POSTed and continues to run flawlessly.

Cons: Manual...What manual? You get a cd which must be read on another computer. If you don't have access to another computer in close proximity, this is not the motherboard for you!

Pros: lol well yea the 590 chipset is amazing, read up on it if you don't already know what are its benefits. also AMD is pwnage just putting that out there. lol always were the best gaming systems, and they did an amazing job out here. all the benefits just make this board one of the best ones out there IMO. nice LED debug lights, no more listenin 2 annoying beeps. dual 16x SLI is great too ;), and so much more, do a little google search.

Cons: floppy connector at bottom, but this only applies if u even use the dam thing like i do =P

Overall Review: Its the same as the foxconn, foxconn sold 2 evga, evga took name off n sold 4 $30 less lol and temps a little 2 high 4 me but makes sence with such an awesome chipset. + doing w/c so dont care 2 much. =)

Pros: To start with this board is a great deal for all of the features it comes with. Super easy to intall, does everything it is suppose to.

Cons: My only complaint is that after installing my AMD X2 6000+ I soon realized that the heatsink sticks over far enough that putting ram in slot 1 is a bad Idea. My ram would fit in slot one but it would touch the heatsink which is a bad idea.

Overall Review: Great motherboard but if you want to use all four ram slots either buy a smaller heatsink, or go with water cooling. Either way factor that into your cost, for me I'll be going with water cooling simply because overclocking the 6000+ on air isn't going to happen, it runs way too hot.
