What does the switch on the back do? I can't find the manual.

The switch on the back changes the input from 115v to 230v. If you live in the United States it should be set to 115v but if you're somewhere else then you should see what standard your country uses.

I think this PSU has a 6 pin one but i don't recommend this PSU. This lasted me half a year until it fries my gpu and mobo. I recommend save a little more money to get another psu like a corsair one.Always remember that the quality of the PSU matters or your house will burn.

My Case is to small, can it sit outside my computer or is that to unsafe?

It would work most likely, but is not recommended. Try to make some sort of wire or bracket to ground the case of the power supply to the pc case if you do plan to run it that way. Just a copper wire from scare hole to scare hole will work if properly secured.

i dont have much room in my case and currently the power source i have has only one fan for exhaust.  Can you run this power supply where the big fan is on the bottom and it not hurt anything?

My pc seems fine with a similar setup. Only other fan is the one for the graphics card.  Sometimes noisy though.

Yes there are two 4 pin molex connectors on this power supply. Zero mini-Molex connectors that 3.5 floppies or old card readers use--you'd need an adapter for those.

I would reccomend a 500 watt psu. Mine has a 4440s and a gtx 960 and 16gb of ram and the max energy it would push is 350.

I'm in the market for a new power supply since my old one died, so I was wondering how long are the 4 pin CPU power cable and the motherboard power cable? I am using a case that has a slot for a power supply in the basement and a Micro Atx Board and the slot for both is very high.
