Pros: This card rocks! Now that it is on sale, it only gets better. Lifetime warranty is sweet. Easy-to-install Bios upgrades and latest drivers from EVGA's web site make this card perform quite well. Idles at 46C. Loaded, it'll hit 65+ C. CoD4 and CS:S frames are through the roof. Cons: You'll need a higher-end box to really lean on this card. The card's heat sink comes covered with a very thin plastic wrapper to prevent scratches. It doesn't look obvious if you don't notice the wrapper, but you should remove this plastic wrapper for better heat dissipation. The instructions/install guide don't mention this.

Pros: price and speed is great.

Cons: I got 2 of them, about 1 month apart, first one had new bigger fan and runs very cool. 2nd one came with the old smaller fan and runs 5c higher at stock fan speeds.

Overall Review: would be nice if you could see the card that your getting to make sure you get the bigger fan.

Overall Review: I can't remember the last time NVIDIA offered such great value. The $300 8800GT performs nearly as well as the $600 GTX/Ultra, but consumes less power and runs cooler. Note that the 8800GT is quite long so you'll need a pretty big case to fit it. Make sure your PSU is up to snuff as well. The "Superclocked" version is a smart choice for someone wanting a bit more oomph (10% or so) without wanting to worry about voiding a warranty. eVGA warranties it for life, and has industry-leading service & support.

Pros: I was happy to see that this card only takes up one PCI slot (not like some that take up a lower PCI slot for their fan exhaust. Performance has been great as well. I'm running Call of Duty 4 at near maximum settings and the gameplay is smooth as silk. Last but not least, it's a very quiet card. Highly recommend for those of you who are into quiet systems.

Pros: great card! runs crysis on high in dx9 smooth all threw the game with alittle hitches here and there. this card eats call of duty 4,frontlines and other newer games for breakfast!. installs very easy. just make sure it will fit your case (mine is a midtower and i have about 1 inch left before it touches my hard drive)

Cons: not really a con but the temp was getting hot and i notced in games that the fan speed would not rev up. it stayed at like 25 percent all times. i just had to download EVGA'S new bios for it and now the fan speed goes up orccording to how hot it gets. http://www.evga.com/forums/tm.asp?m=176929 download the SC bios and update it. (read the instructions first!!!!!)

Overall Review: amd athlon 64 x2 5200+ at 2.7ghz 2gb of ddr-800 ram windows xp biostar ta770 am2+ motherboard antec neo 650 watt power supply. everything runs great with card.

Pros: I've been waiting for the prices to drop for some time. I didn't feel the 9000 was anything special. Card's price/performance ratio is unmatched, esp. after $30 MIR and $20 promo. Is much quieter than my 6200 and blows it out of the water! Plus there is a lifetime warranty. Runs everything I have on max (a first for me!)

Cons: Does not have dual slot PCI cooling, but seems to run just fine in my case with no problems - cooling is not an issue. Card is gigantic, but that is expected for any full featured video card. I knew all of this ahead of time so I do not really consider this a con.

Pros: Solid performance, reasonable price. Backwards compatible w/PCI-express 1.0 boards, Single slot, Relatively quiet (not silent), Step Up Program & Lifetime Warranty. No goofy LEDs.

Cons: Runs hot, even with good case/airflow. (Many will want to upgrade cooling, although I have not done so yet.)

Overall Review: I bought this card despite the fact that I am using an old ASRock 939Dual-SATA2 motherboard, as I plan to upgrade the MB/CPU/RAM later this year. It performed great, even with my current system holding it back. There is a BIOS update to ensure compatibility w/PCI-ex 1.0 boards such as mine. I updated it, but as a note it ran fine before the update as well.

Pros: Coming from an Nvidia MX440 (over 6 years old), the improvement is monumental. For example this card will run Call of duty 4 with 1680x1050 settings with AA and all the bells and whistles. I am a big fan of evga's support, service, and step up program. I appreciate the superclocking and the single slot design.

Cons: If anything the card is pretty long, I have to keep my hard drives out of line with it otherwise they would collide.

Overall Review: Performance price ratio on 8800Gt's are amazing.
