Pros: I bought this card to replace my two 7950GT's that were in SLI mode. The 7950's scored 9200+ in 3DMark06 using default settings. The 8800GTS scored 10500+ in 3DMark06 using default settings all by itself. I am getting 50-75fps in CoD4 running 1680x1050, maximum graphics quality, no AA, no texture filtering, 24 players on the server.
Cons: I can't honestly say that the size is a con. This is the nature of all the GeForce 8 series cards. The only real con is the temps under full load (80-90C).
Overall Review: Purchase a heatsink such as the ThermalRight HR-03 Plus and a 92mm fan for the heatsink. I was abled to drop the idle temp down to ~47C and ~67 maximum playing CoD4 using the settings mentioned in the Pros of my review. I am running WinXP Pro x64 and I have experienced ZERO problems. eVGA has once again hit one out of the park with their video cards.
