Question 1

I bought it because, according to the box, it has two DVI ports for two monitors.  So I figured it would make a good replacement for my last video card since the main feature I most like is having dual screens for my desktop.

But one of the ports has an issue.  I wonder how I can explain this in text with out a snapshot pic.  I will give it a try.  The face of the video cord that attaches to the card consists of a series of little pins.  But there is one tiny bar among these tiny pins.  This seems to exist to ensure that the connection is made in the proper direction.   Now, here is the problem:  the tiny bar is surrounded by four little pins and one of the connections on the video card is lacking the four holes for this.

Why is this and what can I do to fix this?

There are two types of DVI port. DVI-D is digital only and DVI-I is integrated digital and analog. Those four pins that are missing are the analog pins, making the port without them DVI-D and only digital. I recommend buying a DVI-D specific cable without those pins in order to use that port.

I decided since I found tons of different reviews all over the internet about this graphics card, I wanted to ask, is it good for gaming?

The answer depends on what you want to play.  If it is a graphically simple game like MineCraft, or even World of Warships it will work fine.  If your wanting to play a first person shooter like Doom or Call of Duty then it will probably be too slow.  If you're wanting a card that will do Virtual Reality (VR), no this card isn't going to work.

Question 3

Has anyone tried using this in an older system using pci 1.0 rather than using the AGP slot?

PCI Express cards are not compatible and will not even plug into a conventional PCI slot.

If you are referring to PCIe 1.0 x16 slots, then it likely is compatible. Almost all cards are backwards compatible, just with less performance. I have not tried it, but I would expect it to work.

I know it has 3 video ports but will it allow you to hook up 3 monitors and have them all working at the same time.  My nvidia has 3 but only allows 2 to work at the same time.  will this one with lots more memory support 3?

Question 6

Will this card work in a PCIe 3.0 x16 slot if the slot is running in x8 mode?  I have an AM4 MoBo with an A8-9600 APU, I would like to improve Gfx without replacing the CPU as well.

The gold contacts across the edge of this item connect eight lanes; the other eight remain exposed to the air. Ideal, since your Mobo has no metal in that end of the slot in eight-Lanes mode

I have an old motherboard which has PCI Express x16 for monitor card. Can I plug this card in PCI Express x16 slot?

Cleverly, "Express" version of the PCI slot allows a card to connect only to as many electrical lanes as needed. Un-filled section of a slot goes inactive, automatically.
