Most GPU's no longer come with VGA as an option as this is an older standard for monitors. DVI and several HDMI are your choices on most cards. You can purchase an adapter to convert from VGA to DVI and sometimes this can be helpful to give more room between items plugged in.

i have 2 questions, will this gpu fit in my MSI 970A-G43 Plus AM3+/AM3 AMD 970 & SB950 SATA 6Gb/s 2 x USB 3.1 Gen2 ports ATX AMD Motherboard, and if it does will it run slower or just normaly?(sorry how long it is I didn't know what to copy and paste so I just copied all of it). and, is 500w enough or should I go with 600w? sorry how long this is, but thanks!

It will fit and it runs excellent. Running Rainbow Six: Siege with everything but the textures maxed out. (need more vram for higher than standard textures) I'b getting between 32-50 fps depending on the scene being rendered.

The more important question is: Will it fit in your case?
It's a pretty long card. Longer than the MB. Look in the specs for the dimensions.

HIGHLY recommend a 600w or higher PSU. it will probably run on a 500w, but I wouldn't risk it if it were my rig. I picked up an Antec 750w on sale when I got the card. Super glad I did because I added a256 GB SSD and a 1TB storage drive a week later and I'm almost certain my 500w would have been insufficient.

Will this be able to run well with a 450w PSU?

I installed a 600W for overhead, but was initially going to just run a 500. Running FarCry 4 at Ultra settings on an A10-7850K, the fans never even spin up, so I think a 450 could manage this card.
It only has one PCI-E power connector.

does this come with a molex to 6pin adapter?

No it doesnt. You'll need a powers up ply with a PciE power cable or the miles to 6 pin adapter like you're talking about

This says it is nvidia 3d vision ready. i have read the evga site with this model and they only mention it at the very bottom in small text. can any one confirm?

The simple answer is yes.  I did however,  have to go and update the drivers and installed GeForce experience  which comes with the drivers and is also on included disc.  The video card has been unbelievable. I run Auto Cad and AS4000 design software and it responds incredibly fast.  I have an HPZ600 with twin Xenons. Best upgrade decision I have made.  Unfortunately i am not a gamer,  but I can assure you that these two programs task the video card to its limits.

Would this be compatible with a MSI 760GM-P23 (FX) AM3+ AMD 760G + SB710 Micro ATX AMD Motherboard in my Avatar FX6164?

I am not completely positive but the system I have it in is a MSI 970 Gamer motherboard, AMD 4300 AM3+ Processor which seems to be the same socket wise . The only I would suggest is to make sure it fits in your case. I have a MID Tower and it barely fit in and yours being a Micro, it is quite smaller. but after all that the performance of this card is an 11 on a scale of 1 to 10. I have had it over a year and it was sold to me as refurbished at a great price and it has worked flawless

can this card drive a 4K screen at 60hz 4:4:4 chroma or better? Can it drive more than 1 screen at these settings? What's the maximum it could drive (please include possible combinations)?

I would not suggest using this card to drive more than one of these screens at a time. I don't want to make money part of the equation, but since you are talking about higher end monitors you should consider getting a higher end graphics card as well.

To answer your question:
Yes, it can handle more than one 4k display, but only under the circumstance that you don't plan on gaming. The GTX 950 is a nice card for a budget gaming system, but it is not capable of handling top of the line graphics settings. The maximum resolution I would suggest gaming on at max resolution for this particular card is 1650x1080. If you do not plan on gaming then this card should handle these monitors quite well. I am not supposed to include links, but I am going to include a link to the specifications of this card as a source.

For dual 4k monitors while gaming on both I would suggest a 980Ti as a minimum, but preferably a GTX 1080 or a Titan X. For dual 4k monitors while gaming on one screen with max resolution you should be able to get away with a 970, but I would recommend at least a 980.
Alternatively you can go with SLI or Crossfire which is dual GPUs simultaneously working together. Dual 950s is considered the equivalent of a 970 or better. Dual 970s are considered the equivalent of a 980ti or better. Dual 980s are considered the equivalent of a Titan X or better. All ratings are in speculation and in some cases will cause diminishing returns due to the nature of the games engines themselves. Dual cards in most cases are not recommended if you can supply one powerful card.

I find this hard to believe with an EVGA product but based on the response to the missing cable question then it appears that when the refurbished unit arrives it is NOT functional out of the box. This refurb card requires additional purchases to make it functional - is this correct?

Question 10

One of the review brought up that this refurbished model did not have a cable required for this to work.  Will this  refurbished product come with everything that a new one does?

There is no additional cable needed to run this card in single mode. If you are going to run it in SLI, you will need an SLI bridge, but that should be supplied with the motherboard or you can purchase an aftermarket one, but to install and run this card by itself, NOTHING additional is needed.
