Does this come with an HDMI 2.0(b) or DisplayPort 1.4 cable? I'm happy with even a DisplayPort 1.2. Just need to know so I can add to my cart when purchasing. Thank you in advance.

I have a MB with PCI Express 3.0 x 16.  Will GPU cards that just say PCI Express 3.0 work on my MB with no constraints?

It will work perfectly fine. What you are seeing is the fact that the slot can run up to x16. If you only have a video card plugged in it should default to x16. Don't worry about it that stuff only matter if you are doing multi gpu or adding a bunch of pci cards.

Does this card do Direct X12 ? (I intend to use this with HP Reverb G2 (VR) when available). The MSI version of this card boasts of DirectX 12 in title whereas this does not mention it. Thanks

Almost all DirectX 11 cards "support" Directx 12. (Since nvidia 400 series in year 2010)  This gpu has rasterization performance faster than the gtx 1080 from last generation.  So it should work decent with the hp reverb g2 given all modern technologies such as dynamic resolution scaling.  This graphics card fully supports DirectX 12 Ultimate per Nvidia's specifications.

The maximum resolution is for each monitor. So theoretically you could drive up to 4 8K monitors.

I recently purchased and received this card for a new biuld and after a few weeks it completely stopped producing picture when I opened games. It works well for normal use but instantly shuts down when a moderatly tasking game is launched, such as csgo and fortnite. Is their anything I should try troubleshooting wise before attempting to replace the product? (BTW I have a perfeclty capable 550 wat powersupply that works fine to my knolege. Any help would be appretiated.

550w that you currently have right now is not enough to power this GPU with your other peripherals connected to your motherboard. I would highly recommend upgrading to a 750 to 850 watt PSU to keep up.
