      Great card & value, couple annoyances though 7/2/2020 4:57:22 PM

      Overall Review: My only complaints is that the card doesn't have a DVI-D port on the back, so i'm stuck using my 144 Hz acer monitor on only 60hz.
      On top of that, it needs an extra 6 port PCI-e VGA to power it from the power supply along with the 8 that the 10xx series took. It did not come with the cable so if you didn't keep your power supply's extra cables you're out of luck. I had to go buy a new power supply to just get a single extra 8 to 6+2pin VGA.

      Other than that, card works great.

      Overall Review: The video card is a pro but I will be honest since I received my packeg and found out some parts are missing I changed my mind and I would rather give it thumps down instead of one star. I installed EP X1 to fix it but there is no option of LED button to select. After searching and reading... You need to contact Evga to check the fireware of this video card. In the second hand all the reviews I have seen and watched in YouTube they all have a black cover case on top of the card to protect it but mine was missing, How? I don't know.
      So one is a techniqule issue and one is a factory issue.

      Pros: No RGB

      Cons: Gets quite warm and noisy under load
      Quite overpriced for being only slightly better than 2080

      Overall Review: Shadow Of The Tomb Raider at max settings at 1080p gets 50fps, and I can play Quake II RTX.

      Perfect for Kraken G12 upgrade. 6/14/2020 1:12:22 PM

      Pros: Easy to disassemble, user friendly

      PERFECT candidate for Kraken g12 or other liquid cooling

      No backplate, but it's perfect for aftermarket plate like one from V1tech

      According to others, it's a beast (have not finished building my pc though lol)

      Cons: No backplate can also be seen as a con

      No built in rgb can be seen as a con

      Overall Review: Haven't actually used the card yet, but it comes with no back plate or super special screws. All you need is a phillips and you can take off the heatsink. You may need a heat gun or blow dryer (I used a heat gun) to seperate the black plate from the actual gpu circuit board because of the strong thermal tape. Be careful when doing this, do not bend the board. After that, just follow the kraken G12 steps. I added optional mini heat sinks to the row of vrms on the gpu because some users have trouble with them overheating on g12 builds. make sure to get tiny ones. A few tips here: point the fins to be longwise with your case, so air from the front of your case smoothly flows through the heat sinks and out the back. Also, don't put any heat sinks near the die or you may not be able to seat the water pump. I made this mistake and used arctic silver thermal epoxy, that stuff dried hard and removing it would be impossible without damaging the gpu. The solution? Put the gpu in it's anti static bag, put that in a box, and put it in the freezer for an hour. The epoxy becomes very brittle and the extra heatsinks/epoxy snapped off with ease!
      Make sure to apply plenty of thermal paste to the gpu die, it is not like a cpu where you put a small pea size. I recommend spreading it out manually in a thin layer to cover the whole die. I used arctic silver mx4 for this, as it lasts for years without maintenance. After that, you should be good to go.

      I should also say that this gpu DOES NOT have a traditional 4 or 3 pin fan connector/header, which is not a problem for me, as NZXT's cam allows for you to choose which fans are to react to cpu temps and which reacts to gpu temps. So I will have a kraken x62 in a push pull set up in front of my case (the aio tubes weren't long enough to have it on top of my H710i like I originally wanted) and also have the g12 vrm fan attached to that set up with a splitter. Thats 5 fans that will be links directly to my gpu temps, although I'll have to see if I would rather want the g12 vrm fan to be spinning generally faster than the other pump fans.

      I also want to note that because this gpu has no backplate and may look ugly to some, It is a perfect candidate for a V1tech rgb backplate. I have a supernova one on order and it should fit perfectly over the gpu and make it the centerpiece of my case.

      Pros: Super Fast when Overclocked will be withing around 10-15% of a 2080 TI
      It has great cooling.

      Cons: No RGB which isn't too bad

      Overall Review: I would definitely recommend this to any gamer. It is nearly half the price of a 2080 TI and If it goes on sale again, I will defiantly buy it once more for SLI purposes.

      Pros: This card is a beast, handles everything I can throw at it without complaining
      -1440p/Ultra gets 60+FPS easily on every game I have, 4K unknown
      -EVGA Stock OC is great, and (in my opinion) only heavy power users will need to manually overclock to get that extra few % points of performance
      -Excellent ray-tracing performance. Although many games don't utilize any ray-tracing yet, it is absolutely gorgeous when they do, and I cant wait for widespread utilization
      -has a simple but very attractive appearance for the most part

      Cons: Does NOT have a backplate, which is the visible side on most setups, so its the only thing in my system currently that doesn't have a "finished" look. On a card at this price point I would expect a backplate, even if its just a basic, flat piece of plastic.

      This DID provide an excuse to buy a custom ARGB backplate from V1TECH, however I never would have considered it if this had one already.

      Overall Review: Would absolutely recommend this GPU.

      good price point

      Cons: no fancy RGB lighting
      no outer case protecting components

      Overall Review: Noticeable upgrade in performance from my 1070Ti. However, it doesn't look as pretty through my glass case since I can see the component side since it isn't covered in an outer casing and it doesn't have RGB lighting. Good basic upgrade if you don't care how it looks in your case.
