What's on the "thumb" side of the mouse? You have 9 images attached, but only two are unique: one of just the mouse, the other is the same image with the addition of a thumbnail showing hand position. Nothing shows what the thumb is working with. I'm looking for a finger manipulated trackball alternative.

What's on the "thumb" side of the mouse?  You have 9 images attached, but only two are unique: one of just the mouse, the other is the same image with the addition of a thumbnail showing hand position.  Nothing shows what the thumb is working with.  I'm looking for a finger manipulated trackball alternative.

Accepted Answer

The thumb sits in a comfortable curved area.  There is one button above and and one below the thumb you can work with.  They are very easy to hit (or avoid) with your thumb.  Unfortunately I can't tell you what they do.  I have used this mouse or its predecessor for 5+ years and never used those buttons.
