Is the App Free or are there monthly fees?

The app is free. You can also download the program at no charge to laptops or desktops. So far I have installed two of these EZVIZ systems, one at work and one at home. I added the second system to the same email account as the first so I can view both systems in one place on any device.

Can I add audio recording and playback to this system?

Yes put the mic doesn t come with it
