The FANTECH WGC2+ VENOM II VIBE is a green, medium-size 2.4GHz wireless gaming mouse with adjustable sensitivity up to 4000 DPI, RGB lighting, and switches rated for 20 million clicks, suited to gamers seeking a feature-rich everyday mouse for either hand.
Recommended For
- Budget-conscious players who want a wireless mouse for casual gaming and everyday PC use, rather than competition-focused performance.
- Laptop users who want a 2.4 GHz wireless mouse for gaming away from a desk and prefer not to manage a mouse cable.
- Players of less twitch-intensive games who want a basic wireless mouse for titles such as League of Legends or casual sessions in Apex and Destiny 2.
- Users who want simple, on-mouse DPI adjustment and RGB lighting without needing advanced configuration software.
Real-World Use Scenarios
- For casual PC gaming, such as slower-paced games or less competitive matches, the WGC2+ provides wireless control without a cable crossing the desk; community feedback suggests it can handle games like Destiny 2, but it is not a strong choice for demanding fast-flick FPS play.
- For extended gaming or everyday computer sessions, the rechargeable battery means there is no disposable AA to replace; Fantech claims up to 40 hours of playtime, though actual runtime can vary with use.
- When switching between desktop tasks and games, the adjustable DPI lets users change cursor sensitivity from the mouse instead of relying on one setting for both; the available range is 800–4000 DPI.
- For laptop or desktop use at a gaming desk, the 2.4 GHz USB receiver avoids a mouse cable during play and ordinary navigation; it is suited to nearby setups rather than needing a long-range connection.
- For a color-coordinated gaming desk, the RGB lighting adds a matching visual accent; community questions indicate users should not assume the lighting is customizable through mouse software.
