Why buy 8GB vs 4GB? What is the storage for? e.g.)do you load / save apps, games or movies onto this device?? Will the 8GB stream Netflix better/faster than the 4GB?

the 4GB or 8GB is internal storage. you can add storage via Micro SDHC card or even USB attached flash keys or hard drives so you don;t really need to buy the 8 gb version. However, some apps won;t see or use that external storage seamlessly and will default to the built in storage for storing stuff. not a big deal. the amount of memory makes no difference in the performance for streaming. that;s all driven by the CPU and RAM of which this has a limited amount like your cell phone(it;s a single core cpu). Performance wise, it works well enough because the hardware GPU video chipset is supported by the ROM.
