Thanks to the compact and lightweight driver diaphragm and voice coil, which are backed by highly powerful magnets, it is easy to obtain great sound with the JT1 one doesn't need a heavy-duty amplifier. In fact, it was designed to easily be driven by FiiO's matching KA Series of audio dongles, making them a natural pairing with the JT1.
