Foxconn 6150BK8MC-KRSH / C51PVM06N2-6KRSH 939 NVIDIA GeForce 6150B(PV) Micro ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: Foxconn uses manufacturers reference design so default drivers work fine. Install Nvidias Nforce (4) series drivers for 6150LE and forget about the driver CD. Turn off anti aliasing, and turn anistropic filtering to application controlled for a real boost in graphics speed. Pinouts for both front panel and USB are situated with VCC+ on the far left. HD LED is bottom and Power LED is top. Then, Reset switch is bottom and Power switch is top.(when looking in upright open case) Speaker is built in.

Cons: Disable Smart Fan in BIOS to avoid mouse skipping. Memory defaults to slower memory timing for compatibility, just set it to your memory speeds and you're fine.

Overall Review: If you end up with a single "Unknown" in device manager for 6150bk8mc, you have two options: A)Disable infineon TPM in BIOS under integrated peripherals. B)put driver CD in CD ROM drive,goto device manger, click "Unknown", click update driver automatically, then browse to your correct folder to install the right driver when prompted to choose. For me it was something like, driver/tpm/windowsxp. You know, just don't browse to the windowsXP64 or Vista folder if that's not the OS you're running. This is a great little board for the money, it just takes a little patience and know how. Hope this helps clear things up.

Pros: This board is a snap to install. All drivers available for Vista, and runs great. Even with a slower graphics card, I am able to play Elder Scrolls Oblivion with no problems. Easily took my old DDR Ram with no problems. 3 brands or ram with 2 different speeds. NO PROBLEMS WHATSOEVER!!!!

Cons: Wish the graphics chip were a little better. Vista only rates graphics at 2.0. Still runs surprisingly well all things considered.

Overall Review: Be sure to go to www.nividia.com and get their drivers...increased benchmark by 10%.

Pros: Good MB layout, large heat sinks on north and south bridges. Running stable OCed 15%. Makes a nice inexpensive system.

Cons: None really, wish it had onboard 1394, but seldom need it. Would have been nice if it came with a printed manual, but the one on Foxconn's site was OK.

Overall Review: First upgrade bios, came about 5 versions old then throw away CD and download newest drivers from nVidia. Wish Newegg would light a fire under UPS, as usual 3 business day shipping was about 5 business days.

Pros: Built in graphics card, included DVI connector. Foxconn has quick RMA process if it ever does fail, faster than most. No OS reinstall necessary when switching from old AMD XP 462 VIA chipset mobo. I won the bet from the Cons. (Manager bet 3 months)

Cons: It's Foxconn, your boss at the computer store will start taking bets as to when it will fail. This board didn't like my SB Live Value card and would BSOD 'machine check exception' when the card was inserted, sound wouldn't work on the card either.

Overall Review: This board has performed just fine while in service. I was willing to pay $30ish for a Foxconn board, but not $54.99. While myrebates411 swears we are qualified and the check will be sent soon, they cannot promise 'when'.

Pros: Cheap, reliable and stable

Cons: Bad rap from old drivers and Bios Rebate? What rebate...thank heavens I don't like, or use them. Can install windows and have he machine gone, and never look back. Did I mention that I hate rebates?

Overall Review: I have had good luck with these boards. Although, I never opened the manual, nor the CD. Flashed the Bios without hard drives, and install with Dual Boot XP/x64 XP were flawless. I thought I should write the review from one of these machines, its been running for 5 weeks as Raid Server. I have used Patriot, PQI, and GSkill, all from the Egg, and no issues that I can find. Not a super overclocker, but it is very stable.

Pros: replaced older emachine MSI board perfect. Chipset was the same so windows booted as if nothing had ever happened. As for all of you grumbling about the lack of a manual, go online. It took me every bit of about 2 minutes to find and dl it.

Cons: none so far

Pros: Great board for cheap 939 HTPC build, DVI & VGA

Cons: Terrible packaging, Driver CD was broken into 4 pieces. Additional components (cables I/O backplate broken CD) just placed on the board, this is just stupid, how easy would it be for a capacitor to be dislodged!?

Overall Review: Great board for using those extra 939 compatible components you have laying round to build a respectable HTPC

Pros: After searching eastbay and google fruitlessly for the 4-pin to SPDIF out adapter (optical or not) for the 4-pin SPDIF header on this mobo, I finally found the answer: Basically all you do is connect the SPDIF_out pin and the GRND wires to a simple RCA jack, and there you go!

Cons: obviously FOXCONN putting and advertising a SPDIF-out header on the mobo but not selling the requisite adapter.....
