Can the LED light colors be changed or is it a fixed color?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the colors can be changed.  All of the fans have a standard RGB header that can be daisy chained together.

If you connect them to the controller on the case, then you can cycle between a limited variety of built in color schemes and display patterns using a button the the top panel.  There is no software control for this option.

However, if you connect the fans directly to an RGB header on your motherboard, then you can use the software that comes with it to control the color and patterns.  This offers full control and is the best option for customization.

Is this case suitable for a larger GPU?

Accepted Answer

Yes. This case is a BEAST. Almost to the point that I second-guessed getting one so big. I have a Zotac 5070 and it fits with probably 6+ inches of space ahead of it.

How is the cable management in this case?

I have built several computers from scratch and I believe this case is the roomiest and most convenient I've ever purchased and is so easy to set up all components for a great build.  Although it is very large it isn't obtrusive and blends in well with the room it is in.  Also important to me is that it is extremely quiet with the fans Fractal provided with it.  I wish they had included the type c connector with it though.  I had to order it extra.  It wasn't expensive but an extra step you shouldn't have to take.  All in all it is a great case.

Can I fit an RTX 4090 inside this case?

I have an RTX 5070 in mine and there's probably 5-6" of dead space between the front edge of the GPU and the interior of the case. This case is a monster. To give you an idea of the perpendicular direction, I'm using the be quiet Dark Rock Pro 5 to cool my CPU and there's sufficient space between the top of the cooler and the glass panel.

Does this work with aftermarket fans?

I put a couple of Factual brand RGB fans and it worked just fine. Wiring may be a little different but it will work ( or should ). Case and take 120mm or 140mm sixed fans. It comes with 4 fans already so I added the two top fans myself. Just wire the RGB to the mobo and should be just fine. All of them sink up so not issues for my build.

The smaller fans ( 120mm ) are what I used to go with the preinstalled 120mm fans it comes with. Some use a 4 pin and some use a 3 pin. No worries as the mobo connection and use either if you have a good mobo with lots of RGB connectors on it. I have the ASUS Maximus Z790 Hero so top shelf and tons of RGB connecting points to use.

I am sure you can order up same case fans from the manufacture as well. I had old builds I strip down and reuse as much old parts as I can to save the costs. They seems to last decades ( case fans ).

Yes, there is a ton of room up top and it will fit 240 mm with no problem.

How are 5.25 dvd players mounted / accessed?

The way the instruction booklets states is that the little drawer at the very bottom of the case can actually be completely removed as well as its casing and then you can mount I think up to two dvd/cd drives at the bottom of the case.

Will this fit a 13.58in graphics card?

According to the booklet for the case I have in front of me, its says under "Graphics Card Limitations":  The Pop XL Air case limit is 455mm for the graphics card.  The picture shows it being right up to the fan on the front of the case.  Another part in the booklet talks about 380mm for air cooling case, 350mm for liquid cooling inside case.  I guess you can probably says yes on that as 350mm would be about 5mm over the 13.58in graphics card.
