Question 1

I'm considering this case for a first build. I'm aware that there's a few USB ports on the front, but are there any ports anywhere else on the case? I don't think it would look too good if I plug in all of my accessories (Keyboard, Mouse, Network Adapter etc) and lead all of the wires to the front.

No there is no other usb ports. Usually usb ports are on motherboards and, depending on which one you get, will have as many as you see fit. I just bought a motherboard with 10 usb ports on the back because I don't like using the front ports either. The only time I ever use them is for a quick usb flashdrive to swap some files, and that's hardly ever. So I'd do some looking around if you are building a pc for some some motherboards with the right amount of usb ports you are looking for. The motherboard that I bought is a Maximus VI formula by Asus in case you were wondering. On another note, this is an amazing case, Fractal designs attention to detail and build quality is the best in the industry right now in my honest opinion. Hope I helped, have a great day.

Question 2

Hi, does the added window cause any noticeable loss of sound dampening? I like the added feature, but if it comes at the cost of added noise I'll stick with the windowless one.

I have the windowed version and it's virtually silent. The big rear fan is very quiet and I don't perceive much leaked sound from the internal CPU  fan (stock Intel i7-3770K fan) and 2 graphics card fans (Asus GeForce GTX660 TI).

The computer lives under my desk in a home recording studio so I'm fairly critical of noisy machines, and this is probably the quietest computer I've ever worked on. Noise doesn't bother me at all.

One other thing that really helps - I'm using an SSD, so there's no disk drive whine or clicking from the mechanism that always seems to get amplified by the case.

Question 3

How many inches is there between the backplate slots, and the drive bays? I am wondering if the Gigabyte GeForce 4GB GTX 770 windforce will have room, appearently it is almost a foot long.

With the HDD cage in it is 290 mm which is 11.4" and with the top set of HDD cages removed it is 470 mm which is 18.5" and still leaves you with 3 bays which is usually enough for most people.

Will the Corsair H110 mount on the top?

it might, there is a spot for two 140 mm fans on the top which supports some 280 mm radiator mounts. I don't have any additional cooling and am running off of the two 140 mm fans that came in with the case ( front intake, rear exhaust) and don't get temps over 65 C. I'm running everything at stock speeds however, until i get some more fans. Would bet my left nut it would fit though.

1.) Can I fit my 292 mm GTX 780 Gigabyte GHZ Edition GPU in the case without removing the top hard drive bay?
2.) If not, do I have any need of the top hard drive bay if I don't have 5" HHD?
3.) Is this tower compatible with SSHD? If so, do I put it in the SSD part or HDD part?

Yes, you should be able to fit that big card in the case without having to remove the hard drive cage. 292 mm equals to about 11.5" so there should be about an inch to spare. The ssd can be screwed into any of the HDD bays as the bays are compatible with either a hard drive/sad. An SSHD should mount regularly in any of the bays as well. I love this case 
as there are tons of mounting options and plenty of room. There is a black and white theme, but the red trim of my video card is really starting to annoy me.

Will a gtx 780 fit in this?

Yes it should fit. I have a GTX 660 Ti which is 9.5" long, 4.376" tall, dual-slot. The GTX 780 is 10.5" long, 4.376" tall, dual-slot. There's at least 3" clearance on my card, and that's without removing the extra drive cage. If you take out the drive cage you'll have an additional 6-8" clearance. You should be fine.

Will this case accommodate a hyper 212 evo?

This case will give plenty of clearance for the hyper 212 evo, or any other for that matter. Plus there is easy access to the rear-side of the motherboard for the secure installation of the CPU cooling unit.

Can anyone tell me anything about the stock fans on the case?

Personally, I like them! I took a chance and bout a couple more to match, not knowing the quality, and I love them! The 140mm fans (2 included) are great! and on the highest case setting, they're QUIET! Their 120mm fans though are kind of loud, but still good for a 120mm fan. They push a good amount of air. They're a good balance of volume and air pushed.

Hello. A case is the last and HARDEST component I have to choose for a new build. I have spent almost 3 weeks doing research and looking at photos on google. This, the CM Enforcer, and Corsair Carbide 540 Air are the top 3 choices. I am looking for something with clean cable managment, a side window, and room for cold cathode lights. This is one of my cheaper choices. I read all 13 pages of reviews and still undecided. Fan noise noes not matter to me. My Antec Nine Hundred v2 is next to my head on full blast for 3 years and it does not bother me. Is this the case favored one out of the 3 I listed? Will the ASUS Sabertooth 990x r2 fit nicely in here and have room for top fans or the H80i/H90 (can't remember which I told Santa to get)? Most of the bad reviews are broken bits here and there but the majority are good. Thanks in advance.
This will be my second build ever and first by myself. No water cooling and 240mm rads in my future. Maybe Xfire in a year or so..

I will say that on many forums, the Fractal R4 is THE case most people choose. One of the reasons is the price point. It is an amazing case with great cable management and tons of room for all your components. The removable drive bay is a nice feature as well which will help if you have any space concerns. I have an Asus Z87 Pro and it fits perfectly in my case. I didn't have any issues with broken bits. HOWEVER, my case's headphone port was damaged accidentally (by me). I e-mailed Fractal and they sent me a replacement for FREE with rush delivery. They've definitely earned my patronage. Lastly, you should have TONS of room for an H90 and your cold cathode lights. In summation, get this case, you won't be disappointed.
