Sure. the regular ATX power supplies will fit fine in this tower. The restriction is more about he motherboard size. You will only be able to use a MicroATX or smaller motherboard.

There are 2 front available 5.25" bays suitable for the usual DVD/CD/BluRay reader writers.

Im completely new to all of this but will the GIGABYTE GA-F2A68HM-H FM2+ AMD A68H 4 x SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard fit in this case well? Or would it be too small?

Hi,

I have never specifically checked that motherboard.  What I recommend is you look at the website "PC Parts Picker"; that is what I used when I was building my machine.  It told me which components are compatible with what.  Hope it helps.

Would it be possible to fit 2 hard-drives and 1 SSD?

Not on the vertical mount (visible on the right in the open side panel view) That is for either 2 3.5" drives or 3 2.5" drives, or 1 3.5" and 1 2.5". However, the case comes with a 5.25 bay converter for an additional 3.5" or 2.5" HDD. You can only 1 a single optical drive if you use the adapter.

Can this case be mounted to a wall?

If you were willing to drill mounting holes in the side, then yes.

I've had this case for a year now or so, Could you explain your question a little better?

The case does not feature any sort of wall mounting that I know of right off hand, but you could just mount a small shelf and then put the case on that maybe? It stands up pretty straight.

Question 6

With a drive bay removed to make room for a 240mm long graphics card, will this case still support a single 3.5" drive?

there is a drive cage for 3.5" HDD's and you wouldn't have to remove it to make room for any card. The cage is mounted to the bottom of the case and holds one 2.5" and two 3.5" drives and on the back panel of the case there are two more 2.5" drive mounts for a total of 3 2.5" drives and you don't have to sacrifice any of them for a graphics card. I currently have a gigabyte GTX780 Windforce and 1 120GB SSD on the back panel and 2 2TB HDD's in the cage and there is plenty of room.

Hi, this is a big question that I need help with, I am building my first computer and don't know a whole lot about them. So these are all of the parts that I am using to build this computer, I am wondering if they are all compatible with each other or if I should get different parts. the case is a Fractal design core 1000, the optical drive is a LITE-ON DVD burner iHAS 124-14, the hard drive is a T500GB,  the motherboard is a MSI H61M-P31/W8, the CPU is a Intel Pentium BX80637G2030,  the memory is a crucial Balistix sport 4GB single NOT the low profile, though I am looking for 8GB of memory, if any one could suggest. The graphics card is a SAPPHIRE 100364L, along with windows 7 64bit. As for the power supply, I have either a Corsair CX600, or a Corsair CX600M, I don't know if they are the same but the CX600M is just modular? Thanks for the help!

Nothing in that list strikes me as odd or incompatible. The motherboard is MicroATX like the case. This case has slots for standard drives of all sizes.

There is always the possibility of a really extremely large graphics card getting in the way but that's more about length than width and so that card seems to be okay? I can't guarantee. Likewise the power supply should be fine, but I can imagine there exist power supplies that are too big for this little case.

Modular power supplies cut down on excess cords by letting you only use the cords you need. Non-modular power supplies are cheaper but all of the cords are plugged in all of the time, so you can get a lot of dangling cords inside your case. I usually go non-modular because the dangling cords are not really that big a deal.

If you get a very, very large aftermarket heatsink, that could be a problem, but you shouldn't need one as the CPU should come with an acceptable standard heatsink.

You may benefit from getting a case cooling fan. There is a fan integrated, but with a graphics card of that size you'll always benefit from an additional fan mounted on the side vent or something.

Question 8

I'm building my first computer. I kinda new at this. If my motherboard doesn't have an onboard USB 3.0 header, would that be a problem?

You wouldn't be able to use the front USB ports on the case unless you get a USB 3.0 to 2.0 converter.  The case doesn't come with one.

How well does it isolate sound?

not very well, you can hear all the fans and the HDD sound very clearly with this case, but at the same time, I'm also used to my Fractal Design Define R4 cases that do a huge amount of sound muffling.....so maybe I'm just a little overly sensitive to it.
