Pros: Silence! You will not hear a peep from this item. It truly creates no sound at all. The handsome mesh around the cabling is a nice touch. Plus, it comes with three Velcro cable ties to keep the install nice and clean.

Cons: This thing is heavy. It was heavier than all the other parts of the machine combined.

Overall Review: Keep in mind that the value goes out the window if you plan to install this in to a machine that already has several case fans, loud hard drives, a noisy cpu fan or a noisy gpu fan. It kind of defeats the purpose all together and would be a waste of the extra money that it costs. I chose this PSU because I was building a machine as an audio workstation for a recording studio. In the studio, silence is golden. It came out perfectly. This is would be great in a machine with liquid cooling.

Pros: I needed to build a dead silent media pc for our bedroom. I replaced the stock PS in an Antec NSK2400 case with this ZEN unit. The system has been powered on 24/7 for almost a year now. The system temperature is usually 29C, and the only thing you ever hear is the hard drives or optical drives.

Cons: Expensive, but worth it for my application.

Overall Review: I'd certainly buy another or recommend it for a system that requires a quiet, cool PS.

Pros: This power supply is a quiet powerhouse - it has no problems running my Athlon 64 X2, six hard drives, two DVD-RWs, and two Radeon HD3850s. You won't ever hear any noise out of the PSU as there are no moving parts. The blue shell looks very nice. The cable looming is excellent for cable management and makes the inside of my case look very clean and professional.

Cons: The first one arrived in working condition, it worked for about a week, and then it died. NewEgg comes to the rescue again with their excellent RMA, and the second one has been running well with no hiccups for well over 2 months now. It does get a little hot if you're putting a lot of load on it (see my pro's), so I would not suggest shoehorning this PSU into a small case with no active cooling. I have no problems with one single 120mm case fan, however. Weighs a ton, so it might not go well in a cheaper construction case.

Overall Review: I only give this 4 stars because of the problems with the first one dying so soon, otherwise I would have no problems giving it 5. For anybody looking to remove their actively cooled PSU, I would highly recommend this one - it is a great companion in my Koolance setup. With the fans on the heat exchanger running the lowest they can go, my computer is practically silent.

Pros: Silent :-) Old PSU: Antec Neo HE 430 CPU temp idle for 1 hour = 60 deg C Motherboard temp idle for 1 hour = 45 deg C. Room temp = 77 deg F New PSU: Zen 400 CPU temp idle for 1 hour = 60 deg C Motherboard temp idle for 1 hour = 45 deg C. Room temp = 77 deg F These values were taken from the BIOS. I was surprised as I expected higher temps with the Zen 400, but there was no change.

Overall Review: Purchased this silent PSU to replace my already quiet Antec Neo HE 430 System; 2 ASUS EAX 300 series pci express video cards, 3 WD Serial ATA hard drives 8gigs of Crucial DDR 5300 ram, system board is ASUS P5WD2-E Premium, processor is 3.2 ghz Pentium D 940, CPU heatsink/fan is Zalmon CNPS 9500 and case is the Antec P150 which has the stock rear 120mm fan set to 830 rpm and one front case Vantec 92 mm fan at 1448 rpm. My system which is used primarily for graphics is very stable running Vista 64 bit Business.

Pros: No noise, lots of connectors, long cords, cords wrapped in mesh to keep them from tangling, lighted switch, looks nice.

Cons: Heavy - to be expected with no fan though.

Overall Review: I have purchased two of these. The second one failed after 13 months of service. Has 3 year warranty so I am doing the RMA process. 4-6 weeks turnaround is what their website says. For this price, seems they could afford to do an advance RMA.

Pros: Beefy. Great for a quiet system. Cable runs wrapped in netting and shrink wrapped at ends.

Cons: The 4 pin molex connectors had some misaligned terminals.
