I didn't  try to upgrade, so I can't really answer you question. The  tablet was a present to a person that is far away from  computer skills and she glad to use the OS as it is. Sorry, couldn't  help you much.

I would like a tablet for my birthday and i was thinking about this one. it has good pricing and lots of space. does it run well? will it crash on me? i have never heard of this brand and i would like to know if this is a good tablet or should i try something else??

It runs well and not crash on you. This is a Japanese brand, but late model. (The newer models are very expensive. can't afford it).  In my personal opinion, I have it about 6 months. I like it and my 10 year old nephew uses it and plays games everyday after school, no problem.  There are 2 drawbacks: 1. it can not receive wifi-N 5.0 Ghz (b,g,n 2.4 Ghz is fine). 2. Can not update to Android 4.1 or higher because Fufitsu dropped it and discontinued.  So if you don't play around with the O.S. Android 4 (Ice Cream Sandwitch), not even thinking about updating the O.S and using wifi 2.4 Ghz. You get a great toy with a great price.

Does this model have front and rear facing cameras?
Can it Skype?

Yes. Back 8.0 MP, Front 2.0 MP with Auto Focus [please see specifications on Newegg]. Back camera (the higher res) is not bad but average quality. Front cam maybe just good enough for skyping. However, Skype software is not included, not preloaded. Thinness is a plus, the way tablet feels in the hands. Difficulty of finding other cases for it is a minus. Fast, stable, and trouble/worry free tablet. Works well with Exchange. Bundle at Newegg makes buy a nice deal.

is this a Microsoft systems & programs adaptable?

If you are asking about running Microsoft Windows  programs on the tablet - the answer is NO.  You can access text, picture, audio, video formats created with MS Windows and stored on a USB or CD card and then being inserted into the tablet.  Specific apps to play  video or audio formats might need to be downloaded and installed from Play Store. Hope it answered your question.

Power adapter, usb cable, dust cloth, power plug adapter as pictured. For $249, Newegg used to include a free bluetooth keyboard and the Fujitsu case for this item.  Tablet itself is quite stable. Works well with Outlook Exchange and business apps.

I see it has both micro usb and sd slots can you add memory via one of these or both and what is the limit on size of either?

You can add up to 32GB via the micro sd card slot.  I haven't tried using the micro usb slot for anything other than charging.  The cradle has standard sized usb ports and hmdi out so you can use flash drives.

Question 7

Just received my M532 and I love it and the value!  Mine is experiencing a problem.  After connecting to my home WiFi, the tablet goes into a reboot loop - but not always!  Fujitsu customer service is aware that this can happen with overseas units or ones that have been improperly upgraded to Android 4.1, but mine only received the firmware upgrade.  Anyone have any ideas?

Go into recovery mode (Fujitsu has doc on how to do this), clear all caches including Davlik (you will lose all settings) if it is on the tablet, and then reboot.

If this does not solve the problem then you would need to download a 4.0 or 4.1 firmware specific for your tablet and reflash. 4.0 is available for America but 4.1 only put out for Europe and MidEast. If you want to go with 4.1 (JellyBean) it takes a little work and know-how to get right - have to use hex editor before flashing. It is well documented on the web however. I use this ROM and it is a little smoother than ICS but no dramatic change either.

It comes with a charger and a packet of information. You'll want to purchase a case, with or without a keyboard depending on how you intend to use it. I like Fujitsu! The are the most underrated computers as far as I'm concerned. I did not purchase this for my personal use but as a gift for my mother. She's going to love it!

Can this product be upgraded beyond Android Jellybean? Plus, Is there a pen I can use with this product for notetaking math equations?

I've only had the tablet for a few days, but it is not even updatable to Jellybean directly in the US.  It comes with Android 4.0 installed, but the Jellybean updates appear to only be available for the non-US versions of the tablet.  You can still upgrade to Jellybean if you download the UK version and then use a hex editor to change the region code for the upgrade package, but not everyone is going to be comfortable doing that.  I would not count on any further android updates from the manufacturer

As for whether it can be used with a pen, I don't have one available to try it.  Maybe someone else can help you on that
