Yeah, they should work fine.  Just make sure that if you have all 4 sticks in, you should try to pair the two 1600 sticks together, and the two 2400 sticks together, based on how the dual-channel slots on your motherboard are laid out.  Also, keep in mind, all memory will run at the slowest memory setting in the set, so you could be wasting some of the capability of the 2400 , because it will basically run at 1600 (or even lower; my motherboard defaults to 1333 until I activate the XMP profile of these sticks).

I love mine.  Have had zero issues, and windows is very happy with this amount of RAM to work with.  I don't overclock, it seems there's far more performance to be gained just by having more RAM, than how fast it runs.  Super stable.

I7-4790k is the cpu i use, but when i look up my build i get "The G.Skill Sniper Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-2400 Memory operating voltage of 1.65V exceeds the Intel Haswell Refresh CPU recommended maximum of 1.5V+5% (1.575V). This memory module may run at a reduced clock rate to meet the 1.5V voltage recommendation, or may require running at a voltage greater than the Intel recommended maximum.". The issue for me is that i can't find the warranty anywhere to confirm if it's true or not?

when looking at what memory your system can use, look at what the motherboard supports. I use this with a 4790k with no issues, you just need to enable XMP for the memory in the bios

I don't know how to answer this from my experience except that you have been given a max spec for the CPU and the memory needs more voltage than that.

Could that 1.65v be the max voltage for your memory?

I assume you already have the memory and are upgrading to a new CPU and processor.

You should ask G Skill or the mobo manufacturer, if the answer really matters that much.  You are apparently trying to use older memory with a newer processor and mobo.

Can you run this memory at 1.5 volts in another computer, maybe by slowing it down some?  If it compatible with the new motherboard and the new CPU, chances are good it will work just fine with the Haswell processor.

You will see very little real time difference when you slow down your memory with that voltage reduction.  You can test for differences but you will not be able to see 10% in memory speed  differences in the real world.

The largest difference I have ever seen is with an SSD upgrade.  Gamers would likely disagree.  I am not a gamer.

Is G Skill out of business?   If so, you could ask another memory manufacturer the same question (or the mobo manufacturer) by finding the competitive memory of the same type and "generation" from that manufacturer.

If you are determined to upgrade, you have nothing much to lose by assuming it will work at 1.5 volts assuming it is compatible.  If it does not work for you, you will have to buy the next generation of memory.  1.57 volts is not that different than 1.65 volts.

If I had to guess, I would guess that it will work acceptably well.  That is only a guess.

I looked at G.SKILL website, and it doesn't say anything about it being compatible with the Asus Z97-E motherboard. Is this true, or is it compatible? If not, is it compatible with the Z97-A?

It is compatible. When gskill released these sticks the z97 wasn't out yet. These will definitely work just make sure that if you are buying 4 sticks to buy them together. Xmp profiles run much better with sticks that are manufactured in sequential order. Especially if you're overclocking

Can I use this to replace DDR3 1600 PC3 12800 1.65V?

Yes, but you won't see much (if any) difference in day-to day usage by going to faster memory.  You could and should see a difference if you go to MORE memory - you can open more windows at once, for example.  In WinXP the most memory that the OS will recognize is 3.2 GB.  Later versions of Windows can use expanded memory beyond that 3.2 GB limit.  16 GB is more memory than anyone will need except for specialized tasks like recoding video.

Unless you go into the BIOS and adjust the memory speed and perhaps, voltage, it will likely run at the same speed as your old memory, or slower.

Your motherboard manual will tell you how to change your memory speed and voltage.  If you have a branded store bought computer, you may have to ask the manufacturer if this can be done, if BIOS instructions are not provided by the manufacturer.

To enter the BIOS you will have to push the DEL or F1 Key (on most computers) as the machine first boots.  When you enter the BIOS you can then play around in there.  You can back out of anything you do in the BIOS with the ESC key.  And - always "Exit Without Saving".  You will see these options at the bottom of the BIOS pages.  Don't save any changes that you do not understand, or if you do, record the old settings before you do, so you can go back if something doesn't work.

You should turn off the splash screen that covers up the BIOS progress, so you can see what is happening during the boot cycle.

If you are going to make a change and save it, make one at a time and write down what you do.  Back up your computer beforehand.  If something goes wrong, undo the change and restore your OS.

Best bang for the buck - go to a Solid State Drive.  256 GB is large enough for almost all programs that a reasonable person could want.   128 GB is large enough for any Windows OS, but not that much more.  You will get more from this upgrade than from any other, and it's not mobo-dependent.  Read the Newegg reviews before you buy.

is it compatible with motherboard ASROCK Z87 PRO3...???

Not sure. I installed on Asus Gryphon. I see no reason why it would not be compatible. The memory controller is on chip so I would think any z87 board would accept these. On the Gryphon, I installed 32GB no problem and running at rated 2400 speed. Good sticks.
