will this work with amd boards?

Yes, I use the ASUS M5A99FX PRO R2.0 AM3+ AMD 990FX + SB950 7 x SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard from new egg.

Will this memory work with a Asus p7p55d-e pro motherboard? I did notice that the memory sticks included an XMP profile?

I purchased the G.SKILL Ares Series 16g (2x8GB) in March 2014. I installed it in an ASUS Z87-Deluxe motherboard which supports XMP. The Z87-Deluxe supports CPU type LGA-1150. Not the same as your motherboard exactly. My motherboard supports up to DDR3 2800 overclocked. This memory has run without a problem for about 15 months now. Operating system is Windows 8.1. Hope this helps.

Yes! It wiil support any system using ddr3 as long as its speed is less than 2133(PC3 17000 or lower)! Great ram works great even overclocks higher a little!!!

Can i put this at 2133 Mhz at 1.5 volts?

That's what it's rated for, so don't see why not. if your board might try to be efficient and auto set a lower volt, but you don't damage it to set it for what it's rated for.
