Great RAM for X99 Platform 3/27/2015 2:54:25 PM

Pros: Very stable DDR4. Will work at XMP 2800 if you can achieve stability with the motherboard and CPU you are using. I decided to take it down to 2400 for tighter timings as 2800 provided to be a hard stability point to maintain with my CPU overclock.

Cons: Works as advertised. Price point and performance is great for DD4. Nothing to complain about!

Excellent product 1/20/2015 7:18:06 AM

Pros: Works at 2800 with XMP profile and is working just fine at 3200 with some adjuntments.

Cons: My motherboard didn't like the XMP profile at first so i had to clear the CMOS to make it work.

Disappointing 1/17/2015 5:24:58 AM

Pros: Picked this up for cheap on black friday.

Cons: I does not work at advertised speeds, even when significantly overvolted. My MB recognizes the overclock profile, but it can not boot stably at the OQ profile's settings. The best I've gotten is 2750mhz and that's with loosened timings to make it run, and even THAT crashes periodically. Very disappointed.

Overall Review: I still have this because it was cheap enough that if I return it, whatever I get will be as expensive for the same performance.

Manufacturer Response:
Dear Customer

We will be glad to help with this issue. The memory is guaranteed at the rated specifications, so you don't need to worry at all. First, make sure you have the latest BIOS for the motherboard. With a capable CPU, enable XMP Profile in BIOS and the RAM should run at full speed. If you continue to have a problem, test one module at a time to make sure they can all pass properly. If you find that one is not working to specification, feel free to send them in for RMA exchange and a replacement should work flawlessly. All G.Skill memory kits are backed by a manufacturer lifetime warranty, so you can rest assured you will always have what you paid for. That is the G.Skill guarantee.

Thank you

Pros: Good physical quality; not worried they will break when handling.

Cons: While advertised at 2800mhz 16-16-16-36 @ 1.2V, I was never able to get that even using XMP. There were constant crashes and many times it wouldn't even post. The best I could do was 2666mhz.

Manufacturer Response:
Dear Customer

Glad to hear you like the solid build of the RipJaws 4 series RAM. You definitely do not need to worry about it breaking. This is a high performance memory kit that will have no problem reaching DDR4-2800 CL16 with a compatible motherboard and capable CPU. Check to see if you have the latest BIOS/EFI for the motherboard. In addition to XMP, you may also need to boost the CPU VCore and/or System Agent Voltage to stabilize the CPU. Contact the G.Skill support team directly and they will make sure your computer runs at full speed.

G.Skill Delivers 12/25/2014 11:50:04 AM

Pros: Fast 2800 speed, and decent CAS16 rating.
High quality, as usual for G.Skill.
Attractive looking, while not being too high to interfere with air coolers

Cons: Price

Overall Review: I have these running at 2800 16-16-16-1T on an ASUS X99-PRO. The XMP profile set them to top speed automatically, and I've had no compatibility issues so far.

I've only used G.Skill ram for the past few years.

I managed to get these on sale for $225.00 over the holidays, which was a steal.
