Pros: I have been using this memory kit for over a month now. I have overclock this memmory to 1100 at 2.35V. , theres a big review of this memory at anan*tech , read it. im running my Core 2 Duo @ 3.7 wirh Zalman CNPS 9500 and this memory lets me overclock my cpu to the moon if i want to , i got my cpu to post @ 4.0 for a while but too hot and back down to 3.7 , my point is , this is the memory to get if you want to overclock your cpu to the max without worrying about if your memory can handle it , this kit for sure can handle anything you can think of. Yes they are D9GMH micron chips. Not one single error on this great memory for over a month , they run like a champ. Great choice i made. Buy it.

Overall Review: I do my homework and read a lot of reviews before buying hardware , and by far this is the best deal i have found as far as D9GMH micron chips goes. Dont let Cors**r memory or other named brand fool you they are using promos chips not D9s , the fact that this memory overclocks to 1100 (PC 8800) ITS SOMETHING JUST AMAZING! For the price it canot get better than this.

Pros: Yes it is D9MGH micron, highly overclockable, running at 1150MHZ at 2.35V. 5-5-5-12, awsome ram if you want to overclock your core 2 duo, nice heatspreaders , no errors on memtest for 24 hours , does not run that hot like other people have posted before me so actually they run warm but not hot. Got my core 2 duo 6600 runing at 3.7. Works perfectly with gigabyte 965p S3 ,it boot up and posted first time on this mobo and its 100% compatible with it. The best memory can buy.

Pros: Upon first boot I see that the motherboard (680i E VGA) has detected the RAM as DDR2 800. 5-5-5-15, but had set it at 1.85v. I jumped into bios, set it to 4-4-4-12 at 2.0v and the system has been running with NO crashes for 4 weeks now. I've tested in other well known ways, and the memory just couldnt be more perfect. D9's, both arrived working - what more is there to say? Forget everyone ranting and raving over Cor.sair etc. This memory looks sharp and performs well. if you read some of the reviews on this, they were able to pump it to 1066 with no problems. GREAT memory!

Cons: Absolutely none, I researched RAM for a looong time before going with G.skill, and im glad I did. Some of the more popular ram has been arriving with 1 stick of the 2 dead. When its every 3rd review, you tend to stay away from that OTHER brand

Pros: Micron D9s running at 1000mhz on a 2:3 ratio CAS 4-4-4-8 @ 2.25v. This kit is great, memory runs slightly warm, not hot like my old DDR2 before and I will certainly recommend this memory to anyone looking for one of the best memory kits at stock or overclocked for the price. I've had them for over 30 days now and not a single issue.

Cons: Price, they used to be $240.....but then again, high-in-deman. Still, worth every penny.

Overall Review: Active cooling is not nescessary but a side panel fan blowing straight onto the modules would be a great idea just to keep them running even more cool. P.S. Thanks G.Skill Rep for your help.

Pros: This memory is one of the few modules that has the Micron D9 chip in it. It is by far the best chip out there in terms of performance. The only limits to its speed is the skill and ingenuity of the owner. G.Skill may not be the biggest or most established company out there but they are working hard to change that. Their company website includes a forum for owners/potential owners that is manned by experts who typically respond to all questions within 24 hours. If you have compatibility questions, want timing specs, or need an RMA then this is the place to go. No other memory company gives you this level of personal support. I made the mistake of assuming that they were like every other hardware company and only contacted them when I needed an RMA. After realizing what kind of company I was dealing with during this process, they have earned a customer for life. I cannot give a higher compliment or better recommendation than this. It is a great comapany and has great products.

Cons: The Micron D9 chip is infamous for it's short lifespan. If you do not take care of it then you will shorten it even further. Mine lasted for about 14 months before it went down. Many companies have stopped selling the D9 chip because of it's high RMA rate. It is the best chip out there but it will eventually break down on you. If you want it, you had better find a company that stands behind it's products. The upside of all of this is that G.Skill has a product-line lifetime warranty. You will get another D9 chip when yours goes down. You do not get forced into a lessor product or get hassled about the RMA like some other companies. You may be able to find a cheaper D9 chip out there but I doubt you will get any use out of it after your first RMA with another company. You get what you pay for.

Overall Review: I've read several reviews that have inferred that somehow G.Skill is liable for the sort lifespan of the D9 chip. This is absolutely false. Regardless of where you buy the D9 chip, it will have the same inherent issues. If you have decided to get the chip, the only important decision left is the warranty. I don't stay up at night worrying about my D9 chip. G.Skill has me covered. Also, I have read reviews that have been harsh on G.Skill's customer service reps for not speaking perfect English. This is a growing company based in Taiwan. Perhaps we should learn Mandarin and speak to them in their native language since we bought their products. That was our choice. Personally, I place more importance on the product and the end result. Regardless, my experience with the company website and the USA office has been exceptional. They had my RMA out in the mail back to me the same day they received it! Now that's service! Who cares if they haven't mastered the language?

Pros: I used to run this memory with intel 975x P5WDG2 WS PRO mobo at 3-3-3-8 timings 2T at 780 MhZ 1:1 (2.25 v) FSB DRAM... that mobo didnt let me reach higher RAM frequency but allowed me low latency with this ram. Then I switched to 680i for some time with corsair DDR2 800 DMX (promos..actually hoping for micron ICs)and popped in this memory ..voila.. I could do 800 MHz 3-3-3-6 1T at 2.3 V (with active cooling, of course). Now (after a year), I have switched to ASUS rampage mobo and this memory could literally do 1300 MHz (5-5-5-9) at 2.3 V with a 3:2 divider DRAM:FSB. Aint that something for a RAM that is supposed to do DDR2 800. I did a few benchmarks with latest Everest edition says read = 10,986 MB/Sec, write 10,000 MB/sec, Copy 10,200 MB/sec, Latency 44.5 ns. 3dmark 06 on ASUS rampage, 8800gts 512mb and E8500, G skill Hz all Overclocked...score reaches 16, 282 (single card score).

Cons: Not very stable if you dont "overvolt" it. Compared to its counterparts, it is very pricey..Was not pricey when I bought it..

Overall Review: If performance is what you want @DDR2 memory, then this memory is the way to go. I expected its price to come down to 60--70 bucks..not happening.. it has been more than 8 months now and its price has gone up rather than coming down. I bought an OCZ FLEX DDR2 9600 for comparison a month ago to use with my ASUS Rampage.now I am stuck with that because this DDR2 800 beats that in every possible way except price. what an irony...OCZ DDR2 1200 is like $75 after rebate and this one (DDR2 800) is like $140.. crazy demand!!

Pros: I've owned these memory sticks for quite a while, and I have it on 24/7 800@ 3-3-3-9. I believe 1T is supposed to be faster than 2T, and these babies run blazing fast and stable. get these sticks! I'm going to order two more so I can have 4GB RAM soon.

Overall Review: On my evga 680i board, the bios recognized it originally as 5-5-5-15, so I had to change it to 4-4-4-12. Then, i oc'd to 3-3-3-9. Make sure you check your bios settings when you first install these sticks. also, when overclocking the memory speed, make sure to run orthos, memtest, or some kind of cpu&memory testing program, because even if the memory settings aren't working, POST will still go thru, and XP will still boot.
