Cons: Got a bad stick the first time. Installed it and turned on the PC. No post, no nothing. Had to RMA the bad stick and I quickly received a new one which works fine.
Overall Review:
I don't believe getting a bad stick detracts from the quality of this RAM. Defects happen when products are mass produced (like this one).
I'm pretty satisfied with what I got. I needed an extra 2GB and this does the job just fine. I run a PC with old parts so it works well for me. =)
Man I gotta say you guys ship FAST! It's like within 30 minutes of placing my order the first time you already shipped my item! That is definitely something to be valued about Newegg!

Overall Review: Bought a 2 GB stick to upgrade RAM on Intel DG41RQ board. There was an existing 2 GB ram stick on board. Used the memory finder tool to find compatible memory. Initially booted ok and ran fine for several but after reboot MB started giving 3 beeps (memory error), tried re-seating memory with no success. Tried one stick at a time; again no luck. Finally just decided to re-flash the bios and the problems vanished. Not sure how the bios got corrupted but now the PC works fine.
Pros: Works Great - No Problems. Highly recommend.

Overall Review: Put it in a Dell Inspiron 530 core 2 quad 2.4ghz, win 7 64bit. Nvidia 560 ti. Oc'd the Intel Q6600 processor with painter's tape now running at 2.999ghz and FSB went up to 1333mhz from 1026. just by covering two contacts points on the chip. WEI rating now 7.3 memory and 7.3 for cpu.( somehow the memory got a free upgrade too.) Google it if you want to try this easy oc upgrade on a dell with a q6600 cpu. Now all I need is a SSD to really crank it up. added master cooler for cpu and 600w PS. 2- 1TB drives. I keep vista on the old drive and use win7 for gaming . Everything i bought from Newegg has worked excellent so far. Thanks Newegg.

Cons: Two sticks that I just bought (within the last 2 weeks) that had the date of 2016 OCT on them were both bad. Very disappointed in this. Random issues with Windows stability, and computer staying functioning. I narrowed it down by taking out all other past RAM from 2008, 2009 and 2013, and only using the 2016 sticks one at a time. Same results on the testing. Thankfully I haven't lost any data or user information.
Overall Review: I've very conflicted with this RAM manufacturer. I've never had an issue before in the past, but as soon as I put these two sticks in my computer (and a 2nd computer to test) was getting instability issues with windows. Ranged from 5mins -15mins of use before system rebooted.
I gave this a 3egg as I haven't had issues in the past with GSkill, and willing to give them a try again and see what happens.
Past RAM sticks have been working great for years... Bought others in 2008, 2009 and 2013 - these have had no issues. But very disappointed that both sticks were bad in one order.
I have sent them in for RMA with newegg (no issues with the RMA so far), and now waiting for replacement - was sad that this had to be done as this was a Christmas present that I'm not sure if they will be here in time now to wrap.
