in all the reviews I noticed people mentioned i5 3.4GHz, will these be compatible with i5 3.1GHz iMac (mid 2011)?

These are compatible with my iMac mid 2011. I have a 21.5-inch 2.5 i5. They work great. The memory I had before made my iMac crash once-a-day. Not this RAM, it's been purring non stop for 3 weeks straight and I still haven't run out of memory.

This should work in a 2010 21.5" iMac as it uses 10600 DDR3 1333 RAM.

It will most likely work but this memory is rated at 1333MHz. You should get 1600MHz, otherwise the system will not run at full potential. The modules you should purchase should be rated at PC 12800/DDR 1600.

I heard my imac 2010 mid can only handle 16 g. Then I read a third party source and it says 32 Gigs.... If it can , can you tell me which set to order of 32 gigs?

I am not sure about the mid 2010 model but my mid 2011 accepted 32GB just fine. Apple only officially supports 16GB but they can use 32GB.

As far as what ram to order, make sure to get the right type and clock speed. I think yours is the correct type listed here. (PC3 10600 DDR3 1333mhz).
