Is this AMD AM3+ compatible?

yes, but it won't go above 1800 on my motherboard without overclocking. The MoBo determines whether you can get all the speed you want.  Look at the specs and make sure you can usr this dast RAM--otherwise don't waste your money. DDR3 is already obsolete--thanks to planned obsolescence built into the industry.

My EVGA X79 FTW motherboard documentation says it supports DDR3 Quad-channel 2133 Mhz memory, but none of the memory configurators I have used show that kind of memory to be compatible. Will this memory work in my computer?

Yes this memory will work just fine with your setup. Most memory configurators stick to JEDEC spec timings and speed and 2133 isn't an official JEDEC spec for DDR3. But based on what the EVGA website says this memory should work just fine.
