Pros: Large heatsink
Cons: After configuring bios memory timing and voltage settings, computer would not POST. Tried each stick separately, still no POST. Visited gskill website where they recommend increasing memory voltage to 2.1V, and other system voltages past default/optimum bios settings. The only reason I purchased these sticks is because they claimed 1.8V @ 1066MHz. After increasing memory and various other system voltages, the computer did POST. I then went to run PRIME95, and immediately had errors. I then configured memory to run at 800MHz, ran PRIME95 and had no errors. MEMORY DID NOT RUN AT SPECIFIED SPEEDS AND VOLTAGES. Windows 7, GA-P35-DS3L, Q9300 Quad 2.5GHz, GTS-250.
Pros: Pros for fast processing and shipping
Cons: I installed both stick booted up memtest got to 1% system rebooted. Tested each stick separately memtest got to 8% and 10% on each stick
Overall Review: When testing with memtest the speed G-Skill ran at 2349 MB/s my kingston Hyper X ran at 2756 both at DDR2-6400 and when tested at DD2-1066 G-Skill ran at 2715 MB/s and my old kingston ran at 3026 MB/s
Pros: Low voltage, stable and the heat sinks allow it to run even cooler.
Cons: The heat sinks are a bit large (vertically), so if you have an aftermarket heatsink on your processor you need to check and make sure it will fit.
Overall Review: I run mine with stock timings at 500MHz (DDR2-1000). If you buy these, please remember they are not made to be great overclocking chips. They are just designed to run at a fast stock speed at a low voltage.
Pros: Pretty red / black heatspreaders. Rated for 1066 which was a selling point for me.
Cons: Started BSOD and failling memtest after about 5 days of normal use. Wouldn't even boot at the rated speed of 1066 so i was forced to run it at 800 mhz. Good thing I didn't pay extra for the extra speed. Have to pay shipping AGAIN to get the defective RAM replaced
Overall Review: Don't these modules get tested after production before shipping? There has to be some sort of testing or QA that's done prior to consumers buying them only to have them fail after 5 days and have to go without a computer for 2 weeks while their memory is being replaced. I knew I should have stuck with OCZ
Pros: Big, heavy heatspreaders.
Cons: If I run this memory at 1066, I can get into Windows, but memtest fails horribly, and if I try to run a game, I get immediatly kicked back to the desktop, OR, a BSOD. Now, this is running 6-7-7-20 @ 2.2v !!! If I run it at 1066 at the rated timings, 5-5-5-15 @ 1.85v, I can't even get into Windows without a registry error! Right now I am running this at 800mhz, 5-5-5-15 @ 1.85v, and it's good and stable. I have tried running this in UnGanged and Ganged modes, with no avail. I've not made my mind up on whether to keep this as some backup DDR2-800, or RMA it and buy some OCZ Blade 1066 or 1200 - which I HAVE seen run stable @ rated speeds.
Overall Review: The rest of my system is as follows: AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition 3.2Ghz ASUS M4A78 Plus on OCZ StealthXStream 700W PSU XFX GTX260 Core 216, Xclio Windtunnel case. I've tried running this memory with the highest voltage my motherboard will go, and at extremely loose timings, and that will only allow it into Windows (XP Sp2 and Vista 32), if I try to load Call of Duty : WaW I get kicked back to desktop. If I try to load FarCry 2, I get a BSOD. Running the memory at 800mhz and all is well.
Pros: Work Fine and have been running stock with no problems for 3 months. Got a great price from NEWEGG
Cons: Heatsinks are tall and would not fit on my Gigabyte MA790x-ud4p motherboard mem slots 1 & 2 (closest to CPU) as they run into the CPU cooler. Marked down one star because of this.
Pros: Looks cool, Runs at 1066 on AMD platforms.
Cons: This ram is not stable. It doesn't overlock on my board. I have played with every bios setting, and I even set the timming to 5-5-5-15, and Memtest shows errors all over the place. Thats less than a minute into the test, folks. Running at 1066 and at advertised timings with everything disabled e.g. ECC mode, Bank interleaving and such is the only way it will go for long without a million errors. If you have any hope of getting it some what stable then you have to up the voltage. It does not run at 1066 with lest than 1.96 volts. 2.02 seems good.
Overall Review: I bought this ram because i had good luck with my 800 ddr2 from them, but i am thinking there quality control isn't up to par. This ram is listed as compatible with my M3a78-t Windows is horribly unstable. Godd i hope this is just bad ram and maybe an RMA will work. If so i will post another review of that ram.

Pros: i messed up after putting this ram in my rig. rebooted to start my OC testing, i dropped the multi to 4xFSB instead of typing 200, i accidentally booted with 300 FSB, yes, 300x4 is 1200mhz. i fire up cpuz and sure enough, 1200 mhz on 1.8v. auto timings doing 6-6-6-18. out of curiousity i fired up and memtest and here we are, im writing this review 15 minutes in.
Cons: HEAVY AND BIG BUT I LOVE IT.
Overall Review: i cant think right now, the blood from my brain is somewhere else. hopefully these pass memtest, so i can just go up my multi to get my PHII 940 back up to 3.6 Gigglehurtz. i would like to add another 1/2 an egg to this product, please?
