Good 2 go for MAC MINI mid 2011 model?

I had Macbook Pro 2011 early model and this memory didn't work with at first. I had it exchanged for another one and then finally worked.

Question 2

Would it be ok to use my factory 2x2gb chips and then adding just this one or does it have to be installed in pairs?

The Macbook Pro has two slots for RAM.  You would have to substitute one of your 2GB chips for the new 8GB chip to total 10GB of RAM.  I think it is recommended to use two RAM sticks that have the same amount of memory.  However, I use one 2GB stick and one 8GB stick in my Macbook Pro, and it seems to work just fine.

I HAVE A 2011 MAC MINI THAT CURRENTLY HAS 2GB MEMORY CARD NOW WILL THIS BE COMPATIBLE?

I have a MD313LL Macbook Pro 13, just curious this MOBO support up to a total of 8GB or 16GB?

Because I plan to buy two sticks of 8GB

This should work with your MacBook Pro. According to Everymac dot com, your model uses PC3-10600 memory speeds. 16GB is the max from their findings.
