Please confirm this would be correct for using in the Lenovo Laptop G50 (80E301GUUS) AMD A-Series A8-6410?

Yes and no. 
If its a G50-30 no, the G50-30 only has one ram bank. If youve got a G50-30 you're better off with a single 8gb stick pc3 1866 (pc3 14900).
If its a G50-45, G50-70 or G50-80 then yes, there are 2 ram banks but you can upgrade to 16gb total, and since the APU uses the RAM for cpu and gpu the more the merrier.

is this compatible with windows 8 or do I need to look for something or are they all compatible?

RAM is not "compatible" or not "not compatible" with the operating system.

If you laptop accepts this type of RAM, then your operating system will too.
Windows 7 and 8 will see all of this RAM if accepted by the laptop, and Windows XP will see 3.5GB of this RAM if accepted by the laptop.
But it is based on the computer - not the OS.
Check with your laptop maker to see if the RAM will work, and if so, you're good.

I have a hp envy m6-1105dx amd a10 4600m, does this support the 1866mhz? As in will it run the memory at 1866mhz, and not reverse compatibility to 1600mhz?? Thanks for your time!

Hello, I recently installed this same ram on my gateway laptop... its difficult to say what your computer will support. Newegg wont let me paste a direct web link, but u can google the words "crucial systemscanner" and the site will scan your computer and tell you what ram you currently have, and offer all their own different ram upgrades that ur computer supports... So after you run the scan, you can compare their list of different ram modules and if you see them suggesting their 1866mhz. then you know that you can use any brand 1866mhz ram...

I was told to buy some DDR3L (emphasis on the "L") to get the lower voltage of 1.35. I see this has the low voltage but I don't see the "L" so what's the deal?

In this case, I believe the "L" is at the end of the product code (i.e., F3-1866C10D-8GRSL).  As long as the voltage matches what your laptop requires, you should be good.

Hello all, I was wondering if any bios adjustments are needed to get this ram running at the advertised speed and timings.  I am thinking of buying the set as an upgrade for my Acer Aspire v3-551-8887, which should be compatible with this ram.  Unfortunately, there is no way to change ram speed or timings in the bios for this laptop, so I'm out of luck if any adjustments are necessary.  From what I understand it's not uncommon for ram to ship with lower speeds than advertised to avoid compatibility problems.  Has anyone who purchased this kit noticed that it was running slow and had to make bios adjustments to bring it up to speed?  Or did it immediately work as advertised?  Thanks in advance for any information.

I went to Crucial web site and did the plug in to see what my Dell laptop would support in speed. I bought this memory and put it in, the speed in bios is still shows 1066. There is no way to change the speed or timings, but it did boost the speed of the laptop. I also put some memory in a Dell desktop at work and the got same results. still showing 1066 in bios, but a definite speed increase. I don't know if this helps, but from what I have researched. You get what you get when you buy a all ready made computer. The system info in the bios is limited to show change. It will show more memory, but not necessarily a speed change in the text. Even though the speed did change. A bios update would easily fix this issue, but will they do it?

This memory has been going tough for 2 years so far and switched between multiple laptops I own. I would say it is a very good buy. For info about matching with your system, check the site for specs. But over all, i trust this brand.
