Galaxy GeForce GTX 465 (Fermi) 1GB DDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Video Card 60XGH3HS3CUD

Pros: Card is definitely as advertised and as others have said. I took another reviewers overclock and overclocked it to 750/1500/1800 without changing voltages using Msi afterburner and it works perfect. Increased performance by approx 15 percent from an already great card. Running stress benchmarks and other games at highest settings the highest temps I get is in the mid 60's. Could probably push it more but didn't see a need to. For the price (at the time I bought it was $129 but even at $169) it's a really good deal. It's an elite card at a value card price, especiallly if you overclock it.

Cons: Maybe the plastic on the card is a little much, just being nit picky. This could be something on my end so I'm not taking away an egg but before and after I overclocked it the temperatures on stress tests were getting in the mid to late 80's which was making me nervous. I installed and set the fan to auto in msi afterburner. However even at 90 degrees the fan was only moving at 50%. I went ahead and opened options and tweaked the fan to go at X amount of speed at X amount of temperature and that fixed it. So I don't know if that was some bug in the card or I could of done something wrong, but I know it was on AUTO but it only ran at 50 percent. Anyway, just look into that and make sure your fan is moving like it's supposed to. Because once that gets fixed it doesn't go above the mid 60's. Easy fix using MSI Afterburner. That could be a reason some were complaining about high temps....check the fan speeds.

Overall Review: As it says, make sure you have TWO connectors for the card and a decent power supply. I went ahead and upgraded power supply when I bought this. I have never messed with overclocking before but after reading the reviews here and checking into msi afterburner, it's really very easy. You can get a sizeable overclock without even messing with voltages which makes this card even better. You can probably get near stock gtx 470 speeds if not more with the overclock.

Pros: While the GTX 465 is often portrayed as the outcast of the G100 family, I must say I'm very pleased with this product thus far. My particular card has NOT exhibited either high temperatures, nor any objectionable fan noise. Quite frankly, given this GPU's reputation, I was expecting both. Performance is very good; actually, exceptionally good given the cost of the card.

Cons: The included driver/utility disc didn't prove to be of much use. The fact that the 6-pin power sockets are at the end of the card, rather than the upper edge, might present a problem in a tight case. It wasn't an issue for me.

Overall Review: Uses a non-reference PCB. As illustrated, the fan flips open to permit easier cleaning when required. There is a blue LED illuminating the fan when in use. Have not felt the need to fool with the clocks, as yet. I'm using an Antec 550W power supply in case you're curious. No question that I would purchase again.

Pros: * Best price/performance Ratio so far * Installation/Drivers are a breeze * Configuration options are great * Startcraft II, Hawx, Crysis and other games run smooth on Ultra settings. * Blue light looks cool

Overall Review: Excellent value for Gaming! although I mentioned some cons, I don't consider them bad enough to take an egg off. Other uses I've given to this card are moderate 3D modeling and it works fine for most not-so-complex models, but when displaying really complex multi-part-multi-surface models (several thousand part files) you can see it just doesn't have the juice required (I know I know, get a Quadro!). I know this is not the main purpose of the card thus it didn't affect the rating, but I think this info can be useful to other CAD/Gaming users like me who like to use their machines for both purposes.

Pros: there is no single card on the market in the 260$ range that will beat 2 of these in sli .. they run cool , high margin for overclock . wei 7.9 they run wow 50+ fps in org fully maxed 1080p dips - low 40's in front of auction house. can hit high 100's in some bg's

Cons: power requirements , yah they are hogs .. i have 800w cm gold rated psu . ... blame urself for not researching this like the poster below me..4 -6pin connectors for sli dont attempt to molex this u fail right there. at least know ur rails .....

Overall Review: my system asus m4n98 evo mb amd 720be cpu -my bottleneck 8gig corsair vengence ddr3 1600 2* gtx 465's sli mismatched palit-galaxy..the palit is a better card runs cooler higher oc and its reference 115gb corsair ssd sataII 800w gold cm psu cm storm scout case 5fans keeps everything nice and cool

Pros: Plays COD:Black Ops flawlessly at max settings. Works with my blu ray player to play 1080i full screen without any problems. I replaced a GTS 250 that was having issues with heat and stuttering. According to my 3dmark06 scores this outperforms the 250 by about 40%. It is a bargain at its current price.

Cons: During burn in it got very hot compared to other cars I've used over the years. It made me uncomfotable to exceed 90 celsius but apparently that is a "normal" full load temp for this GPU. Its fan hardly registers when playing COD, so it is not stressed by my kind of gaming.

Overall Review: This seems to me to be a price-performance champion, at least among Nvidia offerings. I have a 480 watt PSU and sure wouldn't want any less with this card. Haven't tried yet but I am expecting the greater number of stream processors to make a big difference in recoding video with my Z68 motherboard, an i5-2400 and "Virtu."

Pros: Value. I'm most certainly what you would call a budget gamer, and this card is exactly what I've been waiting for. It's overclockable, I'm at 800/1600/2000 at 1000 mV (loads max at 73c). Not bad. Plays DX11 games very well. Puts me in a position to upgrade my mobo/cpu/ram at a later date.

Cons: The heatsink on the card is incredible. You can tell because putting the fan at 100% vastly improves the temperatures. However the fan is really loud. I'm looking for a middle ground atm, but have yet to find anything I like so for the time being I'm using a profile as the temps rise. Definitely not worth taking off an egg as it's design does it's job. I might just make my own fan mount and put a few 120mm fans on it. Power hungry. My 5 yr old rosewill 550w manages to power it but I'm biting my nails waiting for my new PSU to arrive so I don't have to worry about power requirements for a long, long time. It's not a black PCB but I knew that going in.

Overall Review: Dear Newegg, please consider removing the Tech Knowledge rating. A reviewer's comments are always far more indicative of their knowledge than a five star rating system. After reading a review, I feel the TK rating to be more a judgement of character than anything else. It doesn't serve the intended purpose, it just gives people something to shake their heads at.

Pros: sale for $150 plus free game and free shipping. plays most of new games in high settings. better than my 5770.

Cons: hmmm probably the heat generation from this gpu...

Overall Review: i opened the gpu remove the oem thermal paste and replace with better one. it now idles 36-38 and load 68-70. anyway im happy with this product. thank you newegg for giving the best deals :)

Pros: Quite long lasting, Have for 3 years strong now NO PROBLEMS!!
